In the 1960 s,graffiti art rose in the United States.The people at the bottom who have long been oppressed by society regard the city’s street walls as their natural canvas and express their dissatisfaction through impromptu graffiti.With the development of graffiti art and social progress,there are more and more graffiti figures in the city.Today’s graffiti art has reduced a few subjective spirits,and the underground street art that was originally difficult to accept has also entered the mainstream art circle.As an emerging art form,it combines creativity and individuality,exudes free and gorgeous color tension,and also caters to popular culture because of its unique form of expression.The emergence of graffiti art not only injects vigor and vitality into modern art,but also satisfies the visually diverse aesthetic needs.Admittedly,since the birth of graffiti art,it has been labeled as a villain,and the evaluation of this art movement has been mixed.This particular art form has aroused the interest of the author,and believes that marginalized art is more worthy of exploration and research.Therefore,this article will take graffiti art as the research object,and in the context of the new era,analyze its manifestation in various design fields through specific cases.In the creation of graduation projects,the thinking brought by graffiti art will also be used to create graffiti works with unique Chinese flavor through watercolors,wax paintings and other forms.
