As a country along the “Belt and Road” Initiative in China,Bulgaria currently has two Confucius Institutes,Confucius Institute in Sofia and Confucius Institute at University of Veliko Tarnovo.Over the years,the two Confucius Institutes have dedicated themselves to disseminating Chinese knowledge and Chinese culture.In order to investigate the current situation of Bulgarian Chinese teaching and draw methods and suggestions that are conducive to the promotion of Chinese teaching in Bulgaria,this study uses three methods for the "Chinese teachers","Chinese learners","teaching content" of the two Confucius Institutes in Bulgaria,Research on the five main aspects of "teaching methods" and "teaching management".First,the questionnaire survey was used to investigate the Chinese teachers and students of the two Confucius Institutes in Bulgaria,so as to understand the basic situation of the Chinese teachers and students of the two Confucius Institutes in Bulgaria.Problems with teaching management.Second,interviews with Bulgarian Sinologists and Chinese language teachers and volunteer Chinese teachers at two important teaching points of Confucius Institutes in Bulgaria.Finally,the classroom management of the "Patriarch Evtimii" elementary school in Bulgaria was studied through classroom observation.The conclusions drawn in this paper on the researched issues include suggestions for improving the professionalism of Bulgarian Chinese teachers through the requirements of the Chinese International Teacher Standard and the Confucius Institute Online for the development of teacher;at the same time,strengthening the training of Chinese teachers Bulgarian language training;choose foreign students who come to Bulgaria as teaching assistants;add feedback and feedback mechanisms for teachers from the two Confucius Institutes;the conclusions drawn on the Chinese textbooks of the two Confucius Institutes in Bulgaria are revised based on the existing nationalized textbooks in Bulgaria Nationalized textbooks and the development of "Bulgarian Chinese for Special Purposes" series of textbooks;for the teaching content,it is proposed to attach importance to the "phonetic" teaching content and cultural teaching content close to life,and increase the "professional + Chinese" teaching content in an appropriate amount;In terms of teaching methods,the grammatical translation method combined with the concept of "block teaching" and the task-based teaching method combined with Chinese software were obtained.For the classroom management strategies of Chinese teaching in two Confucius Institutes in Bulgaria,it was concluded that Confucius Institute was valued at the beginning Handover of tasks,from the previous Chinese teacher to seek classroom environment and student conditions,so as to carry out classroom management.At the same time,be familiar with the classroom instruction in Bulgarian language;combining with the Bulgarian teachers to implement the strategy of classroom management and the management method of class teacher.
