Study On Adjectives In Yingshan Dialect In Hubei Province

This paper takes the adjectives of Yingshan dialect as the research object,and collects the adjectives of Yingshan Dialect on the basis of the vocabulary collected by predecessors.It analyzes and studies the adjectives of Yingshan dialect from the aaspects of grammae,phonetics and semantics.The full text includes introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction part consists of three parts.It mainly summarizes the research of adjectives in moderm chinese and Yingshan dialect,and explains the research object,the significance of the topic,the source,dassification and research methods of the text.The main body is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is the analysis of the nature adjectives of Yingshan dialect.According to Zhu Dexi’s classification standard of adjectives,this paper divides Yingshan dialect into state adjectives and nature adjectives.The nature adjectives are divided into monosyllabic adjectives and disyllabic adjectives,and analyze the nature adjectives of Yingshan dialect from the semantic and grammatical aspects.The second chapter is the analysis of the state adjectives in Yingshan dialect.According to Zhu Dexi’s classification of the state adjectives and the adjectives I investigated and sorted out,the state adjectives in Yingshan dialect are divided into10 categories,(1)AA.(2)AB.(3)ABB.(4)ABC.(5)AABB.(6)AB in A.(7)ABCD.(8)"AB + le +de".(9)A+ le+AB.(10)ABAC.They are also a state adjective in Yingshan dialect from two aspects of semantics and grammar.The third chapter analyzes the usage of the special adverb "Ge" in Yingshan dialect.By comparing the usage of "Ge" in Yingshan dialect with that in other Eastern Hubei dialects,we can find out the unique usage of "Ge" in Yingshan dialect.The conclusion part is a summary of the whole paper,incluing several important conclusions.First,some monosyllabic adjectives in Yingshan dialect can’t be independent words,and they should be followed by the affix “de”or“le”,which canshow the state.Second,“AA”state adjective,in which“AA” has a few verbs overlap to show the state.Third,there are a few state adjectives in Yingshan dialect that can directly modify the central language without inserting “of” in the middle,which may be the reason that “of” is omitted in the concise spoken language.Among them,“ABC”,“AB+++” and “A+AB” are not found in mandarin,and they belong to the special descriptors of Yingshan dialect.Fourth,most sdjectives in Yingshan dialect usually have a suffix of “son”,“of” or “le”,which is very sticky.Generally,they can’t be separated from the preceding adjectives.
