Oral English plays a very important role and in recent years,more and more children have participated in the oral English grade test.However,due to the influence of written tests for a long time,teachers and students pay more attention to written language than oral English,and this influence increases with the increase of grade.Exploring the effective strategies of oral evaluation has become the focus and research content of this paper.Firstly,the author collected the relevant information about oral English evaluation,explored the theoretical basis of oral English evaluation,then investigated the relevant situation of oral English evaluation in the third and fourth grade of SY school through classroom observation,questionnaire and interview.In formative oral evaluation,teachers have a strong sense of evaluation but lack of action,its being formalized and has low value,students are willing to participate in self-evaluation but the opportunity is not much;2.There is a single design angle,lack of authenticity in oral task and it is not conducive to comprehensive evaluation;3.Summative evaluation lacks norms,standards and summary.In view of the above problems,according to the theoretical guidance,combined with the teaching practice,the following strategies are put forward: first,to change the classroom evaluation process,use the class oral form in order to strengthen the participation of students in self-evaluation and the evaluation of each other;second,to set up step-by-step class evaluation indicators,develop multi-dimensional oral evaluation criterion,expand the evaluation function;third,try to design a comprehensive perspective and select appropriate type of oral tasks to enhance evaluation value.Chapter one is the introduction,which introduces the reason,purpose and significance,ideas and methods of this research.Chapter two explores the theoretical support of oral evaluation through concept definition,interpretation of primary school oral objectives and evaluation requirements.Chapter three investigates and analyzes the situation of oral evaluation in grade three or four of SY schools.Chapter four analyzes the problems and attributions of oral evaluation.Chapter five puts forward some suggestions of oral evaluation strategies in primary English starting grade.
