| This thesis takes Oxford’s learning strategy system as the theoretical basis,takes Laotian students in Changzhou vocational and technical college of mechanical and electrical engineering as the research object,takes the results of the research object as the basis for the study effect,and conducts a research on the correlation between Chinese learning strategy and learning effect of Laotian students through questionnaires and interviews.First of all,the author collected data on the use of learning strategies of Lao international students through questionnaire survey,and used SPSS 24.0 for statistics and description,and concluded that the overall use of learning strategies of Lao international students is metacognitive strategy > social strategy > compensation strategy > emotional strategy > cognitive strategy > memory strategy.Secondly,the author divided the students into high and low groups according to the average scores of the three final exams of Lao international students.The top 10 students in the ranking were set as high groups,and the 10 students in the bottom ranking were set as low groups,and then the high and low groups had been divided.The average scores of the frequency of learning strategies were used for comparison,and an independent t test was used for analysis.It was concluded that the academic achievements of foreign students coming to China are related to the use of learning strategies.Then,the author conducted two interviews with foreign students coming from Laos.In the first interview,the author selected a typical case from the two groups of international students in the high and low groups for interviews,in-depth discussion of the differences in the use of learning strategies between high and low groups of students,and conducted a side argument and test of the previous survey results,demonstrating the relevance of learning strategies and academic achievements of Lao students abroad;In the second interview,the author designed interview questions based on the results of the first interview,interviewed students who had significant progress in their grades,and learned about the specific performance ofthe progressive students in the use of learning strategies.Finally,according to the results of the two interviews,the author proposed teaching suggestions for teachers and schools. |
