Based On Shanxi Province Graphic Design Of City Image Font With Regional Cultural Characteristics

At present,the oldest known continuous use of Chinese characters in the world is the Chinese character.In the long development and evolution,the shape structure of Chinese characters gradually changed from graphics to strokes,triviality to conciseness,and pictographs to symbols.Chinese characters are characterized by square shape structure and strong plasticity,which have unique advantages in logo design.There are countless cultural tourism resources in Shanxi Province,such as natural resources,scenic spots,historical sites,etc.,and font graphics can better present the unique regional characteristics and historical and cultural origins of Shanxi Province to the world.I will explore inspiration from the characters and make use of the shape and meaning of Chinese characters to better display the regional characteristics and cultural deposits of cities in Shanxi Province.As the city’s economic and social development of fast growing,transportation high-speed development,the relationship between cities is increasingly close,assimilation phenomenon is outstanding,in order to get rid of the urbanization of the same image,highlight the characteristics of urban culture,create city brand image,to expand influence,it is particularly important to design a unique city image identification.Most current logo design in graphic design as the design thinking and English letters,Chinese characters in it are not under too much attention,will break through the traditional mode of thinking,the paper is based on Chinese characters structure itself,through the check data,case analysis,looking for a better Chinese characters used in the design of the city image identification methods,and the conclusion is finally applied to the part of the image of the city of Shanxi Province in logo design,strive to can let the people enjoy the beauty of Chinese characters at the same time feel the charm of shanxi city.
