A Brief Introduction On The Placement And Preferential Treatment Of Retired And Wounded Soldiers In The Period Of Fengzhang Ruling The Northeast

Under the background of social changes in the late Qing Dynasty,the military group rose up,and the social status of "soldiers" was improved,and a new military class was formed in the social changes.As a rising power in modern society,soldiers began to integrate into the political power,social life and other aspects.During the period of the Beiyang Government,the military power was expanding and the warlords were fighting not only how the local military forces governed the army,but also what specific measures were taken by the military officers as local rulers to keep their troops loyal,which are worth studying.By referring to archives,newspapers,literature and historical materials,this paper attempts to discuss these problems from the perspective of how to settle and compensate the soldiers who were discharged,dismissed,wounded and killed in battle during the period of Fengzhang’s administration in northeast China.However,due to the lack of relevant institutional data,this paper focuses on the analysis from the perspective of events.This paper discusses the development of military resettlement and pension in fengzhang period by combining the relevant systems of beiyang government and nanjing national government.This article is divided into three parts.The first part is the more conventional way of demobilized settlement,that is,"returning to the original home and working in the old job".Many demobilized soldiers get a certain amount of money and then go back to their home and find a job by themselves.Zhang urged local governments to pay attention to and manage the situation,and to obtain accurate information about the families of returnees and fallen soldiers in order to find and compensate them.Veterans with higher levels of education will be placed in a variety of ways,in the police,civil service and other departments,will be better paid.The second part is about the special ways of Fengjun’s placement of the veterans,that is,putting the soldiers in the farm and putting the soldiers in the work.Due to the large number of demobilized troops,they could not simply be sent home with demobilized money,but were placed separately in various productive sectors of society.In this process,from the initial "resettlement" to a number of directions for resettlement,such as access to factories,the construction of railways.Bong Chang has also become more aware of vocational training,which he does before he is discharged,to give soldiers a cushion of time to return to society.The third part is the compensation for the dead and wounded soldiers and their families.The treatment of wounded soldiers is planned,and wounded or disabled soldiers are placed in munitions or training factories.For the dead officers and soldiers,to be given memorial and T-shirt,so as to boost morale,cohesion.In the conclusion part,the author discusses the background,influence and characteristics of the military placement and pension during the period of Fengzhang’s administration in Northeast China,and evaluates the policy of the Fengzhang Department on the placement and pension of the retired and wounded soldiers.
