Sleep is the basic requirement for human survival,and the quality of sleep will directly affect people’s physical and mental health.As one of the important forces for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the college student group also affects the development of the country and society to a certain extent by their physical and mental health.The decline in sleep quality of college students will not only affect physical health,but also lead to a series of consequences such as academic burnout and reduced subjective well-being,which in turn will affect sleep quality and form a vicious circle.So,what factors will affect the sleep quality of college students? How do these factors affect the quality of sleep? Based on relevant research on the influence of personality traits on sleep quality,combined with the theory of time motivation,this study analyzed the influence of trait anxiety on sleep quality.At the same time,selfcontrol and sleep procrastination were introduced to explore the internal mechanism of sleep quality.In this study,the "Trait Anxiety Inventory TAI","Self-Control Scale SCS","Billing Delay Scale BPS" and "Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Scale PSQI" were used in the form of questionnaire surveys to randomize college students in the form of online questionnaires.313 questionnaires were issued and 300 valid questionnaires were collected.Reliability test,descriptive statistics,t-test,analysis of variance,correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed through spss21.0 software,and Bootstrapping was used as a mediating effect test to analyze college students’ idiosyncratic anxiety level The impact on sleep quality aims to understand the sleep quality,idiosyncratic anxiety level,self-control level and sleep delay status of college students,and examine the mediating effect of self-control level and sleep delay.The results of this study are as follows:1.The overall sleep quality of college students is very good,and there are significant differences in the two demographic variables of gender and grade.2.The overall level of trait anxiety of college students is relatively high,and the difference is significant only in the demographic variable of grade.3.The overall self-control ability of college students is better,and there are significant differences in the two demographic variables of gender and grade.4.The overall degree of sleep delay among college students is low,and there are significant differences in the two demographic variables of gender and grade.5.Trait anxiety is significantly positively correlated with sleep quality,trait anxiety is significantly negatively correlated with self-control,trait anxiety is significantly positively correlated with sleep procrastination;self-control is significantly negatively correlated with sleep procrastination,and self-control is significantly negatively correlated with sleep quality;sleep procrastination is significantly negatively correlated with sleep procrastination Sleep quality is significantly positively correlated.6.Self-control has some mediating effects in the influence of trait anxiety on sleep quality.Sleep procrastination has some mediating effects in the influence of trait anxiety on sleep quality.Self-control and sleep procrastination have a chain in the influence of trait anxiety on sleep quality.The mediating effect.Based on the above results,we can conclude that the self-control ability and sleep quality of Chinese college students are better,the degree of sleep procrastination is low,and it is affected by gender and grade,while the level of trait anxiety is higher,and it is only affected by grade.Impact.In addition,Chinese college students’ trait anxiety,self-control,sleep procrastination,and sleep quality are correlated in pairs,and self-control and sleep procrastination have a partial mediating effect and a chain of the two in the influence of trait anxiety on sleep quality.Mediation effect.Finally,the research results of this article have enriched the domestic research on the sleep quality of college students to a certain extent,and pointed out that in the future mental health work of college students,we should pay attention to the trait anxiety level of students,and improve self-control by reducing the level of anxiety.Ability to reduce sleep delay behavior,thereby improving sleep quality and improving students’ physical and mental health.
