| For many years,literary critics have paid more attention to Chi Zijian’s works with rural themes but ignored the profound connotations in her works with urban themes.Based on this,this paper focuses on Chi Zijian’s works on city themes,and takes Harbin as the research object.This paper analyzes Chi Zijian’s Harbin writing from four aspects: the origin and generation of Harbin writing,the image of Harbin city,the urban life and the narrative art.The first chapter discusses the origin and generation of Chi Zijian’s novels in Harbin from two aspects: historical and cultural background and the cause of the writer’s main creation.Looking for the regional cultural confidence in Northeast China and being called by historical writing resources belong to the external factors,while the need of self-creation transformation and the accumulation of life experience in Harbin constitute the internal factors,which jointly contribute to Chi Zijian’s Harbin writing.The second chapter discusses the image of Harbin in Chi Zijian’s works.Chi Zijian’s works not only cover the historical imagination of the disaster and prosperity in the history of Harbin,but also contain the true description of the collision between the old and the new in the process of Harbin’s modernization as well as the fireworks life of the people at the bottom.The perfect combination of historical reality and literary imagination shows the diversity of Harbin’s urban history and adds a sense of mystery and legend to the city.Chi Zijian expresses the real secular life of Harbin city,but also expresses the sense of loss.The third chapter expounds the urban life in Harbin in Chi Zijian’s novels.There are two types of typical characters in Harbin in Chi Zijian’s novels,that is,women and exotic people,which are closely related to the city.Women,as the "participants" of urban life,enrich the urban spirit of Harbin,while the degeneration of women also shows the urban morbid and confused.As the "wanderers" of urban space,the exotic people constitute the important factor of Harbin’s unique urban cultural memory.The fourth chapter explores Harbin’s narrative art in Chi Zijian’s novels from two aspects of narrative perspective and narrative space.According to the different volumes of the text,the author uses the zero-focus narrative perspective to complete the historical imagination of Harbin,and probes into the emotional world of the characters through the internal focus narrative perspective.Secondly,according to the function of narrative space in the narrative,the narrative space in Chi Zijian’s novels about Harbin can be divided into: the framed road space and the thematic building space. |
