A Comparative Study On The Difference Of Modifier Functions Based On The Phenomenon Of Displacement Of Adjectives

There are many predecessors who have done a large number of researches on the adverbial attributive ectopic phenomenon.The perspective is constantly innovating and the depth of the research is increasing,and have achieve significant development.This article summarizes the previous research results,based on the adverbial attributive ectopic phenomenon,and summarizes the differences in the expression functions of adjectives in the syntactic position of adjectives and adverbials,in order to restrict the expression functions of adjective attributives and adverbials.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the development process of adjective attributive ectopic research,the content and significance of this research,and indicates the research methods and corpus sources.The second chapter specifically describes the phenomenon of adverbial attributive ectopic,including attributive attributions as adverbials and adverbial adjectives as attributions separately.Meanwhile,the constraints are summarized from the aspects of syntactic analysis,semantic orientation,semantic harmony,and psychological cognition.The third chapter pays more attention on analyzing and sorting out 1067 adjectives in Chinese Adjective Usage Dictionary,and conducted a strict matching check on the corpus.Formally,monosyllable adjectives are difficult to shift,overlapping adjectives are the opposite and have a large proportion.In terms of meaning,different adjectives include two types of adjectives to describe people and adjectives to describe things.The adjectives to describe people are subdivided into the categories of "Demeanor" 、 "Psychological emotion" and "Character quality",the adjectives to describe things are subdivided into "Shape" category,"Metric" category and "Nature"category that describe things.The fourth chapter analyzes the expressive functions of adjectives in the attributive and adverbial positions from three aspects: economic function,salient function,and focus function.When the adjective is in the attributive position,it shows the "unintentionality","objectivity" and "permanence".When the adjective is in the adverbial position,it shows"economic","intentional","subjective","temporary" and "focus" "features.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the full text,and there are some recommendations and possible effective mearsures are provided which mainly focus on the shortcoming in the article.This research is helpful for understanding the different expression functions of adjective attributives and adverbials,and enriching the research results of parts of speech and syntactic components.In terms of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,it could help Chinese learners contribute to a deeper understanding on the constraints and expression functions of displacement,and reduce errors in the use of Chinese.
