ERP Study On The Embodied Effect Of Face-recognition Effect In Non-depression And Depression Prone Persons

In today’s society,psychological problems caused by emotions gradually spread in society.Depression,as a kind of emotional problem,has always received much attention.In the psychotherapy activities of depressed patients,researchers have adopted many methods to solve the emotional state of depressed people,and the application of embodied cognitive theory is one of them.In this study,college students and graduate students with depressive and non-depressive tendencies were selected as subjects.A study of 2(depressive and non-depressive)* 2(pinch soft ball and hard ball)was designed.Specific experiments explored the two groups of people separately.Through this exploration,the question of whether the embodied cognitive theory exists in the specific cognitive process and whether it has a unique influence on depression-prone people is studied.Experiment 1 an ERP study of the process of bifid face recognition,using 30 male and female half of college students,through the study of the judges of the bifid face in the process of squeezing two spheres with different degrees of softness The impact of different physical conditions on cognitive judgment results.The results show that there is no significant difference in behavioral data.Time domain analysis can find the link between embodied effects and brain activity,that is,the different stimuli caused by hard and soft balls indicate that soft and hard balls will affect cognitive judgment and have the ability to affect results.When the physical effect represented by the soft and hard balls does not match the judgment result,a larger value will be triggered,which means that the opposite result of the selection and the excitation effect will cause a conflict and make the amplitude greater.In the spectrum analysis,the amplitude generated by the hard ball on the θ band is larger than that of the soft ball.No difference was found in time-frequency analysis.Experiment 2 depression-prone people’s ERP study in the process of face recognition of bifid,screened out 26 depressive-prone people with depression tendency but not diagnosed with depression,male and female half.In the process of soft and hard spheres,the judgment of the bifid face is used to investigate the impact of different physical conditions on the cognitive judgment results.The results show that the difference in behavioral data is not significant.In terms of ERP data,the time domain,frequency spectrum and time-frequency analysis results show that the main effects of depressive tendencies are significant under different personal effects,especially the peak and The amplitudes vary greatly,which may indicate that the depression group is more sensitive to different physical conditions and is more affected by the different physical conditions.Through a comprehensive analysis of the results of Study One and Study Two,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)There is an avatar effect,and(2)Depressive persons are significantly affected by different avatar effects.(3)There is a significant difference between non-depressive and depressive persons in response to the embodied effect.
