Fidelity And Transmission: A Study On The Translation Of Lines In Kazakhstan’s Teleplay “Father”

As one of the important ways of cultural communication,teleplays shoulder the mission of spreading national culture and carrying forward excellent culture.At present,the cultural elements of TV dramas are increasingly open and diversified,and the "going out" and "bringing in" of TV dramas are increasingly important.Therefore,it seems that the translation of TV dramas at home and abroad can promote the exchange,communication and integration of different cultures.In the process of TV drama cross-cultural communication,how to make the content,cultural phenomena and some special words contained in teleplays "undistorted" and the exotic customs "conveyed" completely,so that the audience can understand the foreign culture,this paper forms the cognition to solve this problem:the "fidelity and transmission" of teleplay lines translation.The viewpoint of "fidelity and transmission" is derived from textual analysis and used in textual research.Through drama translation we know,different nationalities,different regions people created and developed the differences between culture,language,teleplays culture phenomenon and the existing domestic cultural phenomenon in different way,in order to make the audience is not distorted cultural phenomenon,understand the differences,the translator in translation to achieve "fidelity and transmission".This thesis is a summary report of scientific research on Kazakh TV series’ lines translated from Kazakh to Chinese.Taking the TV series "Father" as the research object,this thesis finds that there are unique cultural phenomena in the lines of this TV series.Based on this,this thesis puts forward the viewpoint of "fidelity and transmission",and then reports them one by one.This thesis consists of three parts,which are introduction,text and conclusion.The foreword mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the research,the research dynamics,the research methods,the innovation and so on.The text is divided into three parts,among which:The first part is the first chapter,which is based on the Kazakh TV drama "Father",and analyzes that the translation of the lines of foreign TV dramas should be "fidelity and transmission",and also pay attention to the issues of "context,dialogue echo,oral style and cross-cultural".so as to ensure the effective realization of "fidelity and transmission".The second part,namely the second,third and fourth chapters,from the perspective of "fidelity and transmission",analyzes the words,sentences and other examples in the lines,finds out the translation methods and principles,and puts forward relevant countermeasures for the existing problems in translation.The second chapter summarizes the relevant translation principles from the perspective of "fidelity and transmission",namely "fidelity,popularization,coherence,colloquial style and matching".The third chapter summarizes the translation methods and translation skills of this TV drama from the aspects of vocabulary and sentences.In the fourth chapter,from the cognitive perspective of "fidelity and transmission",this chapter analyzes the existing problems in the translation of teleplay lines and proposes relevant optimization countermeasures.The third part is the fifth chapter,mainly discusses the translation enlightenment obtained in the research process.This thesis uses "fidelity and transmission" throughout the translation of the whole text and combines it with "correspondence" to find that the translation of lines is not completely equivalent or equivalent,but corresponding.Based on this,this paper takes "fidelity and transmission" as the theoretical perspective and "three correspondence" as the practical means,and then summarizes the three corresponding lines translation "A-A correspondence,A-B correspondence and A-Zero correspondence" from the perspective of "Fidelity and transmission".The conclusion part is to sort out the above contents,and summarize the views of the whole text,and summarize the gains and shortcomings.This thesis argues that as one of the important ways of cross-cultural communication,teleplay translation should not only accurately translate its content and meaning,but also achieve "fidelity and transmission",so as to achieve the purpose of cultural exchange and communication.
