A Report On E-C Interpreting Practice Of Apple Event In 2019 From The Interpretive Theory

As people’s lives enter the era of intelligence,smart products have achieved rapid development and consumers pay more attention to technology products.Especially with the rapid development of China’s economy,domestic customers have greater purchasing power on foreign technology products.This requires interpreters to be familiar with launches of new technology products to help consumers better understand the latest information and emerging innovation.Taking the Interpretive Theory as the theoretical basis,2019 Apple New Product launch as the research content,the author summarizes guiding roles of the Interpretive Theory in the simultaneous interpretation to meet practical needs in the reality.According to the Interpretive Theory,the interpretation process consists of three stages: comprehension,deverbalization and re-expression.It emphasizes the original meaning of the source text,and interpreters should get rid of the restriction of the structure of the source text.Based on the Interpretive Theory,the author analyzes typical examples in the interpretation materials and summarizes appropriate interpretation techniques: transference,segmentation,omission and paraphrase.First,the author expounds the specific requirements and expectations of this interpretation.At the same time,it also presents the whole process of interpretation,and evaluates on this interpretation task.The interpretation report dominates case analysis.Based on the Interpretive Theory,the author adopts the combination of theory and practice to analyze the specific problems in this practice,and summarizes interpretation strategies and techniques.Finally,it accumulates relevant experience by summarizing guiding roles of the Interpretative Theory in this interpretation practice.The author hopes to improve practical ability of interpretation in the future.
