A Study On The Image Of Wind In The Poems Of Wei-jin Dynasties

Image is an important aesthetic concept in ancient Chinese poetry,among which the connotation of wind image is relatively rich and diverse,and has won the love of poets of all ages.Throughout the development of Wei-Jin Dynasties’ poetry,"wind" is not only one of the frequently used images,but also a more changeable and flexible one of many natural images."Wind" has had a rich connotation since the pre-Qin Dynasty.With the development of poetry,the wind image has been enriched in type and connotation gradually,and has become an important image in poetry works.The Wei-Jin Dynasties were the self-conscious era of literature,when the literati began to reflect their inner world in literary works.Therefore,the wind image has been greatly developed during this period.Based on Lu Qinli’s Pre-Qin,Han,Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties’ Poetry and previous studies,by using the research method of scatter perspective,this article analyzes the development and evolution of wind image in We-Jin Dynasties’ poetry,and probes into the influence and significance of wind image on the development of ancient poetry.This article is divided into three parts to conduct a specific research on the wind image in We-Jin Dynasties’ poetry.The first part discusses the development of wind image in poetry in the pre-Qin and Han Dynasties,and selects Book of Songs,Songs of Chu and some Han Dynasty’s representative poems as examples to trace the expression characteristics and the aesthetic value contained in early wind image.The second part,the representative poets of Cao Zhi and Ruan Ji in Cao-Wei Dynasty are selected as examples,and explore the influence of the characteristics of the times on the image connotation by analyzing the characteristics of the wind image in the two poets’ works.The third part,Lu Ji and Tao Yuanming in East-and West-Jin Dynasties are selected as examples to make a detailed analysis of the wind image contained in the two poets’ works,and analyze the thoughts and emotions contained in the wind image,so as to grasp the ideological and emotional changes of different times and different writers,and to explore the influence of the social environment in Wei-Jin Dynasties on the development of the wind image.Finally,it summarizes the characteristics of the development of wind image in Wei-Jin Dynasties,and analyzes the profound significance of wind image in the development of ancient poetry image.
