As a new achievement of technology-driven education reform, online and offline blended teaching has promoted the inter-connectivity between individuals and groups,in-class and after-class,online and offline to a new level. As interaction is the core element of classroom teaching, the inclusion of technology as an interactive medium also poses new challenges to teachers and students to establish a correct cognition of interaction and timely innovation of interactive methods.Through literature review,it is found that there are few relevant researches on blended teaching of specific subjects in basic education stage. Therefore, this study will focus on junior high school English classroom under the background of blended teaching, analyze the current situation and causes of teacher-student interaction, and propose effective strategies to improve the classroom interaction effect. This study takes the Y school in Tianjin Municipality as the research environment, elects four Grade One junior high school classes with mixed teaching as the research objects, and carries out research on the interaction between teachers and students in the English class of the school. The research finds that the interaction between teachers and students in junior high school English classroom under the background of mixed teaching presents the following characteristics:(1)Some teachers and students lack of awareness of the application of information technology and has poor practical ability;interactive platform diversified teaching tools have not been effectively used.(2)The content of teacher-student interaction is concentrated, the form of interaction is relatively unitary, and the emotional communication between teachers and students is insufficient, which leads to the low order of the interaction effect.(3)The teacher-led verbal interaction ability needs to be improved, the tendency of students to participate in the interaction independently is weak, and there are differences in attitudes and effects when interacting with different objects. In view of the above research results, this paper proposes some strategies to optimize the interaction between middle school English teachers and students in blended teaching from three aspects---interactive tools, interactive content and interactive behavior. The optimizing strategies are as follows:(1)The training of information literacy for teachers and students should be based on practicality, including the development of network assisted learning resources to broaden students’ mixed learning channels, and the addition of intelligent classroom design teaching and research courses to strengthen the training of teachers’ information skills.(2)Teaching interaction forms oriented to diversified teaching contents should be integrated, including rational use of learning process data of the platform, enhancement of accuracy of information assistance, design of independent high-quality group activities, and improvement of integration degree of interactive activities.(3)It is necessary to build an emotional community of "teacher-student-technology" co-development,create a real and natural emotional interaction, optimize a reasonable and effective language interaction, and create an interactive feedback loop between teachers and students.
