| Adverbial is the key and difficult point of Chinese acquisition. The academic circles have richer researches on the ontology of Chinese adverbials and the acquisition of adverbials using Chinese as a second language(second language),but few scholars have studied Chinese as a third language(trilingual)for the acquisition of adverbials. In fact, most adult Chinese learners have studied English before learning Chinese, and Chinese is the third language. In view of the fact that there are very few studies on adverbials in the acquisition of Chinese as a trilingual in academic circles,it is necessary to do the research. From the perspective of trilingual acquisition, the author, through a questionnaire survey of Korean and Thai learners, compared the errors in the word order of Chinese adverbials by the learners of these two countries, and conducted a detailed analysis of the errors. And then figured out that the cross-language factors of their errors and the factors that affect language transfer, and provided corresponding suggestions for both Chinese teachers and learners. This article is mainly divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly includes the reasons for the topic selection and research content, literature review, research objects and corpus sources, research ideas and research methods, and theoretical support. The second chapter is the comparison of adverbials in Chinese,English,Korean and Thai, including the composition and types of adverbials in the four languages, the position of single adverbials, and the relative word order of multiple adverbs. The third chapter is about the questionnaire design and error analysis of Chinese adverbial acquisition: the former includes questionnaire design, questionnaire questions and subjects;the latter includes single, double, three and four adverbial word order error analysis. The fourth chapter is about the factors affecting second language transfer(second language proficiency and language environment)and teaching suggestions. The fifth chapter is conclusion and reflection. The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Second-language English does have an impact on the acquisition of trilingual Chinese. This effect is most obvious in the elementary stage of Chinese learners, followed by the intermediate stage, and the least obvious in the advanced stage, but it will not disappear.(2)In addition to the negative transfer of the mother tongue and the target language and the difficulty of the target language, the source of errors of Chinese as a third language is also an important reason for the negative transfer of the second language, especially in the initial stage of Chinese learners.(3)The degree of similarities and differences between the subjects’ mother tongue and the second language has an impact on the acquisition of Chinese adverbials. When the subject’s native language and the second language have the same characteristics but are different from the target language, the effect of second language transfer will be strengthened;when the subject’s native language and the second language have different characteristics, but the characteristics of the target language are the same or similar,The occurrence of second language transfer is related to the subjects’ second language proficiency, target language proficiency and language environment.(4)The second language proficiency of Chinese learners will affect the transfer of the second language. If the subject’s Chinese is at the elementary level and the second language level is much higher than their Chinese level, transfer is most likely to occur;if the subject is at the intermediate level and the second language level is higher than their Chinese level, transfer will also occur;if the subject is at At the advanced stage, the second language level is equivalent to the Chinese level,so second language transfer is difficult to occur.(5)The language environment will also affect the transfer of the second language. In the primary stage,if the subjects are in the target language environment, the negative transfer of second language will have a greater impact;if the subjects are in the native language environment, the negative transfer of the mother tongue will have a greater impact;among the errors of the intermediate subjects, the second language transfer may exist, but The influence gradually weakened, and the negative transfer of the target language and the negative transfer of the mother tongue have their own focuses: the subjects in the target language environment are mainly affected by the negative transfer of the target language, and the subjects in the mother tongue environment are mainly affected by the negative transfer of the mother tongue;Among the reasons for the trial error, the influence of language environment on it is not obvious. |
