The Correction And Supplement Of Epitaphs In The Kaiyuan Period Of Tang Dynasty

As unearthed documents,epitaphs have important research value.The total number of epitaphs in the Tang Dynasty is rich,and has always been valued by the majority of scholars,and the research results are fruitful.There were as many as thousands of epitaphs during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty.The existing recorded texts were damaged due to rubbings,and there were many different types of characters.There were problems such as misrecording,misinterpretation,and missing records,and related research results were scattered.In view of this,this article will conduct research from the following three aspects.First,research on the difficult characters in the epitaphs of the Kaiyuan period of Tang Dynasty;Second,correction and supplementation of the epitaphs of the Kaiyuan period of Tang Dynasty;The third,comprehensive Summarize the representative variants of the epitaphs in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty,and catalogue the "Table of variants of the epitaphs of the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty."Structurally,this article is divided into four parts.The first chapter,"Introduction",mainly explains the research object,research background and current situation,research ideas and methods of this article.The second chapter,"Examination and Explanation of Difficult and Common Characters in Epitaphs in the Kaiyuan Period of Tang Dynasty",is divided into two parts: "Examination of Misinterpreted Characters" and "Examination of Unexplained Characters".Chapter Three "Correction and Supplement of Epitaph Interpretation in the Kaiyuan Period of Tang Dynasty" includes three parts: "Correction of Mistakes","Correction of Missing Records" and "Correction of Mistakes".Finally,the appendix is "Table of variants of epitaphs during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty".
