Japanese designer Li Jinrong said in an interview: "Posters are silent propaganda." A good poster has a clear theme and strong visual effects.The movie poster is a common visual art in people’s lives,and also a visual medium for film propaganda;it has been with the film for a hundred years.As a carrier of communication,it accurately displays the film’s title,director,actors and storyline through text,graphics,color and other design elements.It also reflects contemporary economic life,political overview and cultural development.The important position in the course of social development is irreplaceable.Today’s filmmakers are paying more and more attention to movie posters because of their crucial role in the pre-sale of movies.Movie posters have three identities,which are both a direct mass media and subject to the laws of the United States,and serve as the mission of national ideology.Chinese films have shown a diversified trend in the new century.In order to survive and develop,film posters must be promoted in the form of various film formats,with their own film management strategies and their own movie consumer markets.An important role in it.This article takes the movie posters created by Huang Hai as an example.From exploring the design style of the Yellow Sea as an entry point,looking for the ingenious combination of commercial and literary features of movie posters;breaking the star effect of pure business model in movie posters,reverting to The perspective of the film and the core concept of the director combine artistic,national and commercial.Finally,the theory and practice apply the research results to the practice of graduation design.
