With the advent of the Internet plus era and the continuous advancement of educational informationization,mobile learning and ubiquitous learning have become very popular and important learning methods now.As one of the mobile learning methods,educational app enables students to learn autonomously even without the guidance of their teachers.Primary school students’ interest and curiosity in oral English learning are often attracted by lively pictures and interesting video resources of English education apps,especially those suitable for primary school students,which promotes them to study actively.Primary school students are often in a passive position in traditional oral English teaching,most of them are not interested in oral English learning so that their learning effect is far beyond satisfaction.Therefore,how to stimulate their interest in oral English learning,how to enhance their self-confidence in oral English learning,how to improve their spoken English and how to enhance their awareness of autonomous learning have become the concern of scholars and English teachers.English.Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education emphasize that primary school students need a lot of input and output to learn English well and it is suggested that teachers make full use of information technology and teaching resources on the Internet to provide learning materials close to students’ life.In this way,students could not only acquire knowledge and skills,but gain the ability of self-learning in daily life as well.The application of “English fun dubbing” app in oral English teaching provides new ideas for teachers.Therefore,this research tries to improve the effect of primary school students’ oral English learning by applying “English fun dubbing” app in oral English teaching.First of all,by questionnaire survey,interview survey and classroom observation are the problems found such as students’ low level of spoken English,the lack of interest in oral English learning,the lack of self-confidence in oral English learning and the weak awareness of autonomous learning.Through the action research,the writer apply the “English fun dubbing” app to the oral English teaching of class 8,grade 5 of Chongqing y primary school.The writer uses dubbing games in the lead-in process to stimulate students’ interest in oral English learning.“Listen and follow strategy” and “cooperative dubbing practice strategy” are also applied in the presentation process and the practice process to create a more vivid,intuitive and interesting learning situation for students.Besides,the combination of “English fun dubbing” app and autonomous learning after class could help students to form the habit of autonomous learning and enhance their awareness of autonomous learning.The conclusions of this research are as follows: the application of “English fun dubbing”app in primary school oral English teaching and learning could stimulate primary school students’ interest in oral English learning,could improve their self-confidence in oral English learning,could enhance their awareness of autonomous learning and could also improve their oral English.The writer also puts forward some corresponding teaching strategies and teaching suggestions for primary school English teachers.
