| The continuous development of information technology and its in-depth integration with education have greatly promoted the process of education informatization.A single traditional classroom teaching can no longer meet the current demand for education,and there is an urgent need for innovation in teaching.With the strong support of relevant national policies,blended teaching has become the general trend.Smart teaching tools such as Mosoteach and other mobile terminals are constantly emerging,especially in the context of the current epidemic.Teachers and students can only use teaching tools or teaching platforms for online teaching,and the demand for teaching tools has increased dramatically.Through literature review of blended teaching,Mosoteach and academic engagement,it is found that the domestic blended teaching mainly focuses on theoretical research and effectiveness research,and there are few studies related to academic engagement.At the same time,Mosoteach teaching and academic engagement are few applied studies in primary and secondary schools.Based on this,this paper studies the current situation and influence factors of junior middle school students’ academic engagement in English classrooms in the blended teaching based on Mosoteach.In this paper,the questionnaire survey is used to analyze students’ academic engagement and its influence factors from the perspectives of behavioral engagement,emotional engagement,and cognitive engagement.Then using method such as difference analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis to analyze and discuss the academic engagement and its influence factors.Finally get the following conclusions:Under the blended English teaching based on Mosoteach:(1)the junior middle school students’ academic engagement is at the upper middle level,behavioral engagement and emotional engagement are higher than cognitive engagement and there are gender differences,but there is no urban-rural difference;(2)factors affecting behavioral engagement include intrinsic learning motivation,teacher-student relationship and learning satisfaction;Factor affecting emotional engagement is intrinsic learning motivation;Factors affecting cognitive engagement include internal learning motivation,external learning motivation,teacher-student relationship,learning atmosphere and learning satisfaction;(3)in the teaching process,there are the following problems:students have low cognitive engagement,teachers have difficulty in accurately grasping the current status of students’ academic engagement,and interference from mobile phones,computers and other electronic products.In this regard,this paper proposes the following suggestions:(1)improve the level of teachers applying Mosoteach,innovate teaching activities,strengthen classroom supervision and guidance;(2)improve students’ cognitive engagement strategies,including setting clear learning goals and timely reflection,focus on learning strategies,etc. |
