The Visual Image Of The Zodiac In The Illustration Design And Applied Research

China has a history of 5,000 years,and many excellent intangible cultural heritages have been born in the long river,such as shadow play,paper-cutting,porcelain,guqin,abacus,opera,12 zodiac signs,24 solar terms,etc.These are all created by people in their daily production activities.They are the crystallization of the wisdom and civilization of thousands of Chinese sons and daughters.They are an important spiritual pillar for them to settle down and work in peace.These intangible cultures represent the spiritual outlook of a nation.It is also an important manifestation of a national culture,emotion,spirit and history.The Chinese zodiac,also known as the zodiac,includes a total of twelve animals: rat,ox,tiger,rabbit,dragon,snake,horse,sheep,monkey,rooster,dog and pig.The zodiac culture,which has far-reaching influence on the Chinese nation,is undoubtedly a shining treasure in the treasure house of Chinese history and culture.The twelve zodiac signs are most closely related to people’s daily life and penetrate deep into people’s hearts.It affects people’s thinking,life,production and so on.People like to place cultural objects of the zodiac at home and carry them with them to pray for happiness and well-being.However,with the evolution of contemporary culture and the impact of foreign cultures,the Chinese zodiac culture has gradually been forgotten by people and faded out of people’s lives.To this end,the author wants to inject fresh blood into the zodiac culture through the illustration design of the visual characters of the zodiac.Based on the epoch,innovation and interest of the zodiac visual image,the author will design an original design with modern aesthetics,so as to carry forward the unique essence of the zodiac culture.Realize the modernization and transformation of traditional culture,enhance the popularity of zodiac culture in the hearts of the public,awaken the national pride of zodiac culture in people’s hearts,and realize the inheritance and development of zodiac culture.This dissertation consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the reason for choosing the topic and the current research situation;the first chapter mainly introduces the origin and development of the zodiac;the second chapter mainly analyzes the domestic and foreign zodiac culture The third chapter mainly analyzes the cultural and creative product design strategy of illustration;the fourth chapter is mainly about design application analysis;the fifth chapter is mainly about illustration design description;Future outlook.Zodiac culture is the crystallization of the rich imagination,unique creativity and infinite wisdom of the Chinese nation.In the face of the impact of foreign cultures,the author combines zodiac culture with modern design techniques to create distinctive and attractive characters.Add new vitality to the inheritance,dissemination and continuation of folk culture.
