This study was conducted to investigate the effects of flipped classroom teaching mode on senior high school students' English autonomous learning. An experiment was carried out to compare students' English scores before and after flipped classroom teaching mode, and a questionnaire and an interview were conducted to study students' English autonomous learning. The research questions to be studied in this essay are as follows:1.What is the effect of flipped classrooms on high school students' English learning results?2.What is the effect of flipped classrooms on high school students' English learning methods?3.What is the effect of flipped classrooms on high school students' English learning motivation? The subjects in this study were 104 high school students from ZJ high school.Three instruments were employed in this study. One involved two English tests:an English month test(pretest)&a final test(posttest)in experimental class. The other instruments include a questionnaire about English autonomous learning and an interview on students.Paired samples T tests were employed respectively to calculate and compare. Also, the mean of students' response level of each item of the questionnaire was calculated. The major findings from this study are as follows:First, the flipped classroom teaching mode can improve high school students' English learning results.Data shows that before the experiment the average score of students in English was69.54 points, after the experiment was71.25 points, the overall average increase ofl.71 points, which reaches a statistically significant difference(t =-4.32,P ? 0.000<0.001),indicating that this period of time did make students academic performance improve.Secondly, the flipped classroom teaching mode can improve high school students' learning methods. This teaching mode promoted high school students' understanding of strategies, organizational strategies and English language learning strategies very positively. Finally, the flipped classroom teaching mode can improve high school students' learning motivation.Flipped classroom teaching mode can improve the initiative awareness of high school students and make students take the initiative to preview and review. The findings from this study provide the following implications:First of all,in the design of teaching contents, the way of flipping the classroom should be consistent with the structure of the subject knowledge, and the main reason for activities should be due to the system of subjects.Secondly, during the implementation of flipping the classroom, the author found that the implementation of this new teaching mode puts higher requirements on the teacher's time schedule. Finally, for the flipped classroom teaching of high school students, the author believes that the autonomous learning of pre-class is best done under the supervision of the teacher, which may get better effects.
