A Report On The Translation Of Skills Development And Climate Change Action Plans（Parts 1-4）

With the development of globalization,the negative impact of climate change has become an increasingly important constraint for national development.Climate change has become an important issue for all countries.The material of translation practice is excerpted from Skills Development and Climate Change Action Plans published on the official website of UNESCOUNEVOC in 2019.It mainly examined relevant information such as INDCs and NDCs submitted by 57 countries,and summarized the measures taken by different countries to deal with climate change in order to understand the contribution of TVET to the realization of these climate change action plans.Under the guidance of Catford’s theory of translation shift,this report analyzes translation practice from the perspective of shift of level and category.This report is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction of translation tasks.The second part is the description of the translation process.The third part is the description of the translation shift theory.The fourth part is the case study of translation,mainly analyzing how to deal with the translation of long sentences and passive voice on the basis of translation shift.The last part is the summary of this translation practice.
