A Comparative Study On The Predicates Of Jin Baotou And Hohhot Dialects

According to the Atlas of Chinese Languages（2nd Edition）（2012）,the Baotou dialect belongs to the Jin Dabao,while the adjacent Hohhot dialect belongs to the Jin Zhanghu.Based on the theory of structural linguistics,on the basis of full investigation and detailed analysis,and referring to the research framework of reference grammar,this thesis systematically explores and compares the predicates of Baotou dialect and Hohhot dialect.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this thesis is divided into three chapters.The introduction part firstly introduces the geographical situation,historical changes and dialect affiliation of Baotou and Hohhot;secondly,it summarizes the research results of the predicates of Jin Dabao Piece and Zhang Hu Piece,and grasps the trend of Jin language grammar research from a macro perspective,so as to find out the deficiencies.And the direction of future exploration and research;Finally,the research object of this thesis-the comparative study of Baotou and Hohhot dialect predicates is defined,and the research purpose,theoretical basis,research method,corpus source and style description are outlined.The first part firstly describes and explains the special sub-categories of verbs in Baotou and Hohhot dialects,including virtual verbs,mental verbs,and willing verbs;secondly,it makes a clear classification of verb morphology,including both word-forming components and constructional forms.Finally,compare the special subclasses and lexical analysis of the verbs of these two dialect points,and summarize their commonalities and differences.The second part describes and explains in detail the adjectives in Baotou and Hohhot dialects.First,the vivid forms of adjectives are explained,mainly including compound,overlapping,and derivation;secondly,the morphological expressions of adjectives are explained,including word-forming components and forming components;finally,the vividness of adjectives in these two dialect points Form and lexical analysis are compared,and their commonalities and differences are summarized.The third part describes and explains the dynamic complement structure in Baotou and Hohhot dialects.It is mainly to describe and analyze the distinctive "dynamic complement structure" in Baotou and Hohhot dialects,including "trend complement,result complement and degree complement";Compare and summarize their commonalities and differences.The conclusion part makes a systematic and comprehensive summary of the comparison results and usage of Baotou and Hohhot dialect predicates,and finally points out the shortcomings and inadequacies of this study.
