| Hong Ying is one of the representative writers of The New Female literature in China.The earliest studies of her began from a literary point of view,and most scholars studied her novels from the aspects of feminist awakening and female writing.Up to now,there are few studies on Hong Ying from the perspective of linguistics.Hong Ying was born and raised by the Jialing River.“The Hungry Daughter”“Good Children Of The Flower”“The Peacock Cries” full of Chongqing dialect words,which can help readers understand the spirit of her novel kernel,also can better realize the novel language charm.The text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is a introduction of Hong Ying and her novel creation,and briefly describes the value of studying Hong Ying’s novel language.The second chapter is the study of dialect word,classifying the dialect words according to the parts of speech and discovering the use of dialect words in her novels.The third chapter is regional expression.This chapter analyzes the expressions with regional characteristics in Hong Ying’s novels except dialect words,such as idioms,onomatopoeia,repetition and folk ballads.The forth chapter is figures of speech.This chapter analyzes the figures of speech in Hong Ying’s novels from the point of view of rhetoric,including metaphor,analogy and exaggeration.The fifth chapter is the influence of the language characteristics,the language characteristics reveal her natural and real artistic pursuit,affect her novels’ aesthetics and characterization,and also reflects her sense of her own identity.This paper takes the language in Hong Ying’s novels as the research object,uses data statistics,literature and other research methods,and combines lexicology and dialectology to analyze her novels from the perspective of linguistics.All in all,the work of this thesis is to comprehensively study and sum up the achievements of language art in Hong Ying’s novels,and make a supplement for the language study of Hong Ying’s novels. |
