| With the increasing opportunities for Foreign Cooperation and Exchange in China,English is one of the most widely used languages in foreign exchanges nationwide.Therefore,the study of the English field has attracted much attention from the academic community.In order to improve the teaching quality of English subjects,China’s Ministry of Education issued the "Guiding Opinions on Actively Promoting the Establishment of English Courses in Primary Schools" in 2001,which proposes that the opening of English courses at the primary school level is of great importance to the reform of basic education in the twenty-first century.Classroom teaching is the central link of primary school English teaching,and primary school English teaching evaluation has a diagnostic,guiding and motivating effect on classroom teaching.This study collates and analyzes the research on the evaluation of English teaching in relevant primary schools,and finds that there are very few evaluation index systems for the teaching environment of English teachers in rural primary schools,especially in the smart teaching environment,and it is even more difficult to try to apply the process data of the teaching link to the teaching evaluation.Therefore,it is of practical significance to carry out the evaluation index system of English teaching in rural primary schools in this study on classroom teaching.The main content of this study is divided into six chapters:Chapter 1: Introduction.This chapter first clarifies the background of this research,reviews the literature on smart classroom and teaching evaluation,introduces the research significance and purpose,and finally introduces the research content,research methods and research ideas.Chapter 2: Definition of Related Theories and Concepts.This study uses the literature analysis method to sort out the relevant literature,expound the theoretical basis of teacher professional development theory,blended learning theory,constructivism theory and the definition of concepts such as evaluation,teaching evaluation,classroom teaching links,and smart classrooms.Chapter 3: The Establishment of teaching evaluation dimensions for English teachers in rural primary schools.This chapter mainly analyzes the four major bases for the establishment of the evaluation dimension of English teaching in rural primary schools,namely,the primary school English curriculum standards,the primary school English teaching method,the evaluation data of the community project of "AI and Data-driven Innovative Application of English Disciplines in the Classroom of Intelligent Teachers"(hereinafter referred to as the "Community Project"),and the teaching process data of the community project.Among them,the process data of the Community Project uses the comprehensive index method to construct a comprehensive index related to the classroom teaching of primary school English teachers.Chapter 4: Construction of a Teaching Evaluation Index System for English Teachers in Rural Primary Schools.Based on the in-depth analysis of the dimensions of teaching evaluation indicators for English teachers in rural primary schools in the first three chapters,this study initially proposes 6 first-level indicators of teaching content,teaching objectives,teaching process,teaching resources,teaching effect,and classroom teaching links,and these 6 first-level indicators are subdivided into 4-5second-level indicators.The weights of the first-level indicators are calculated by the dual comparison method,and the weights of the second-level indicators are calculated by quantitative statistical methods,and the teaching evaluation index system for English teachers in rural primary schools is finally determined.Chapter 5: Application of the Teaching Evaluation Index System for English Teachers in Rural Primary Schools.This study first conducted classroom portraits of English teachers in rural primary schools and classified them;Then the clonbach coefficient was used to analyze the reliability of the teaching evaluation index system,and the clonbach coefficient was measured to be 0.933 using SPSS23.0,indicating that the credibility of the evaluation index system was high,and finally it was applied through specific cases to illustrate the feasibility of the teaching evaluation index system for english teachers in rural primary schools,and to give teaching suggestions.Chapter 6: Conclusions and Outlook.This study shows that the teaching evaluation index system for rural primary school English teachers in the classroom teaching link is feasible,but it is too little in terms of case application,and it will continue to be generalized in future work.The research shows that based on the analysis of teaching process data,the classification analysis of rural primary school English teachers can be carried out,and on this basis,this study constructs a teaching evaluation index system for rural primary school English teachers to further enrich the research results in the field of teaching evaluation. |
