With the development of sensor technology,mobile communication technology,and earth observation technology,the earth observation data obtained by people is more abundant in quantity and finer in quality,and the temporal resolution and spatial resolution have also been greatly improved.The acquisition of multi-source and massive geographic data effectively solves the problem of insufficient data in geographic research,but also brings about the problem of "massive geographic data,rich geographic information,and insufficient geographic knowledge".Faced with the background of "insufficient geographic knowledge",the research content of this paper is the design and development of the knowledge point of land cover change and the knowledge point collection and compilation platform.Firstly,make a clear definition of the concept of knowledge point,and then abstract,generalize and model the knowledge point on the basis of the concept.On the basis of theoretical research,from the perspective of geographic information engineering,this paper focuses on developing a set of global land cover change knowledge point collection and compilation platform.The platform is supported by spatial distribution data,remote sensing data,meteorological data,and spatiotemporal big data such as population and economy in the past 20 years.It uses spatial database and file system as storage system,and adopts a combined architecture of B/S and C/S.Support users' distributed access,and finally realize the collection,storage,management,expression and sharing of knowledge points of surface coverage changes.The main research results are as follows:(1)Realize multiple methods to collect vector research areas such as points,lines and planes,support the modification and editing of vector research areas,and realize multiple spatial data storage methods based on the size of vector research areas.(2)Realize the creation and storage of knowledge points,and develop a storage method for the network structure of knowledge points.(3)Realize the information entry,storage and management of knowledge points related nodes,and realize the calculation and storage of various change indicators on the knowledge point nodes.(4)Realize the visual expression of multi-source spatial data and non-spatial data.(5)Realize the use and sharing of knowledge point achievement documents and knowledge point achievement data sets.
