Clinical Observation Of Electroacupuncture Combined With External Application Of Qingdai Powder In The Treatment Of Acute Herpes Zoster

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of electro-acupuncture combined with Qingdai powder on acute herpes zoster.Methods: Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected from January 2020 to December 2020 in the Department of Acupuncture and Dermatology,Yueyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The control group was given acyclovir tablet 0.5g orally for five times a day,mecobalamin tablet 0.5mg orally for three times a day,and acyclovir ointment was applied externally for 4-6 times a day,while the treatment group was given electro-acupuncture combined with Qingdai powder on the basis of oral acyclovir and mecobalamin,both groups were treated for 10 days.Syndrome integral,pain evaluation index(VAS score),herpes evaluation index(blister stopping time,scab forming time,scab removing time)and the incidence of postherpetic neuralgia(PHN)were recorded.Results:1.In terms of clinical efficacy,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00%,while that of the control group was 83.33%,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In the aspect of syndrome integral,both groups were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment(P<0.01),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.In terms of VAS score,both groups were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment(P<0.01),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.In terms of herpes evaluation index,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the time of blister stopping(P>0.05),but there was significant difference in scab forming time,scab removing time between the two groups(P<0.05).5.In the incidence of postherpetic neuralgia,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the incidence of PHN on the 30 th,60th and 90 th day(P>0.05).Conclusion:Electro-acupuncture combined with Qingdai Powder can effectively treat acute herpes zoster,and has obvious advantages in clinical efficacy,improving syndrome integral,relieving pain,promoting the scab formation and scab removing,which is worthy of further promotion and application in clinic.
