Study On The Effect Of Yangxuejiedu Decoction On Anxiety, Depression And Inflammatory Factors In Patients With Psoriasis Vulgaris With Blood Dryness Syndrome

Objective:To investigate the effects of Yangxue Jiedu Decoction on anxiety and depression,quality of life and sleep in patients with blood dryness syndrome of psoriasis vulgaris,as well as its intervention effect on serum inflammatory factors.Methods:Patients with psoriasis vulgaris who were admitted to the outpatient department of dermatology,Beijing Hospital from August 2018 to September 2019 were recruited.Those with blood dryness certificate of psoriasis vulgaris identified by the associate chief physician or above doctors were admitted to the group.Meanwhile,healthy subjects were recruited to the outpatient department as healthy control group.The treatment group was given Yangxue Jiedu Decoction orally and white vaseline for external use.The treatment group was re-examined every 2 weeks for a course of 8 weeks.Before and after treatment:The Psoriasis area and severity index(PASI)was used to evaluate the recovery of Psoriasis.Patients with psoriasis were evaluated by using the Patient Health Questionnaire 9(PHQ-9)and the General Anxiety Disorder 7(GAD-7).The Psoriasis Disability in-DEX(PDI)and Dermatology Life Quality Index(DLQI)were used to evaluate the quality of life of patients with Psoriasis.Self-Rating Scale of Sleep(SRSS)was used to evaluate the sleep quality of patients.The serum levels of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α and CRP were detected by venous blood samples before and after treatment and in healthy control group.Results:1.After Yangxue Jiedu Decoction treatment,the scores of PASI,depression screening scale(PHQ-9),anxiety screening scale(GAD-7)skin disease quality of life index(DLQI),psoriasis incompetence index(PDI)and self-rating sleep status scale(SRSS)decreased.There were statistical differences P=0.000、P=0.035、P=0.000、P=0.038、P=0.011、P=0.000.53.3%of patients with psoriasis blood dryness syndrome had increased depression screening scale(PHQ-9)and anxiety screening scale(GAD-7)scores,indicating anxiety and depression.2.There was no significant difference in serum IL-6 content between patients with psoriasis and healthy control group P=0.106.The levels of IL-1β,FNF-α and CRP were statistically significant P=0.000、P=0.015、P=0.007.3.After Yangxue Jiedu Decoction treatment,serum TNF-α content decreased,with statistical difference P=0.024;There were no significant differences in serum IL-6,IL-1β and CRP levels P=0.804、P=0.931、P=0.349.Conclusion:1.After Yangxue Jiedu Decoction treatment,the PASI score of patients with psoriasis blood dryness syndrome decreased significantly compared with that before treatment;Anxiety and depression status,quality of life score and incompetence index were significantly reduced,and sleep quality was significantly improved.53.3%of patients with blood dryness syndrome had anxiety and depression status.2.Compared with healthy control group,serum IL-1β,TNF-α and CRP were significantly increased in patients with psoriasis blood dryness syndrome.3.After Yangxue Jiedu Decoction treatment,serum TNF-α level decreased,IL-6,IL-1β,CRP had no significant changes.
