Research On The Maintenance Of People's Health By The Communist Party Of China (1949-1966)

People’s health is an important prerequisite for national prosperity,national rejuvenation and social development.It is also an inevitable requirement for realizing free and all-round human development.The connotation of people’s health focuses on health prevention,comprehensive health and national health,and is interpreted from the micro perspective as the realization of health prevention,public and individual comprehensive health,and national health with the vast majority of farmers.The thought of the CPC on the people’s health absorbs the theoretical achievements of the Marxist classical writers on the health of the working class,and inherited the characteristic records of traditional culture on "health" and "health" of Chinese culture.Then formed the theoretical basis of people’s health thought: serving the working class,paying attention to the medical group,mobilizing the people;paying attention to life and health,and preventing frequent diseases.From the founding of the CPC to the founding of the new China,the CPC fought against various factors threatening the people,and formed the prototype of the health of the people.On this basis,it sorted out the theories and practices on safeguarding the people’s health in this period,and summarized experience and guided new practices.After the founding of the new China,the CPC and the government not only undertook the construction tasks of national politics,economy and culture,but also faced with the dilemma of numerous diseases and lack of medicine,which seriously threatened the safety and health of the Chinese people.Developing the health undertakings in new China has become an important practice to solve the health dilemma.The CPC summed up the past health work experience,established the guidelines for health work of new China,and on this basis,actively explored and developed the cause of people’s health based on the reality of the early days of the founding of the new China.From 1949 and 1966,the CPC primarily led the people in three important practical explorations.First,the CPC led the people against bacterial warfare and turned the epidemic crisis as an opportunity to launch the patriotic health campaign.Second,the CPC led the patriotic health campaign to eliminate "four evils",health and disease.Third,the CPC made a major decision to focus on medical and health work in rural areas,focused on the health work,made up for the shortcomings in rural health,and solved the problem of protecting farmers’ health rights and interests.These measures not only enhanced the CPC’s leadership in the people’s health cause and the people’s health concept,but also enhanced the development level of the people’s health cause,and made effective progress in the construction of the health field in new China.The CPC to maintain people’s health problems caused people concept and behavior,social health and environmental aspects,and the experience mainly includes treating people’s health work as practicing the original aspiration,continuing to carry out the patriotic health campaign,improving the working mechanism of health prevention and security,and developing health science and publicity and education.In short,we should combine through the CPC’s main practices of safeguarding people’s health from 1949 to 1966 and learn from the positive factors of public health and health security.It will play a certain role in learning from the history by today in safeguarding the construction of the people’s health system,guiding the people to maintain a healthy attitude and coping with the public health crisis.
