| In the 1920s,the warlords divided the country and the imperialist aggression intensified,the people’s lives were miserable and the situation of internal and external troubles needed to be changed urgently.In January 1924,the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party launched the National Revolution officially with "anti-imperialist and anti-warlord" as its main task,which was an important stage in the development of the New Democratic Revolution.As an newspaper sponsored by the Hunan Provincial Popular Education Center,Hunan Popular Daily published a large number of news reports and commentaries during the National Revolutionary Movement,and recorded the anti-imperialist and anti-warlord struggles in Hunan in a more comprehensive way,there was widespread mobilization of public opinion.Starting from the political,economic and ideological environment of Hunan during the National Revolution Period,this paper studies the news reports,speeches and layout of Hunan Popular Daily with the theme of "anti-imperialism and anti-warlords",and analyzes how Hunan Popular Daily mobilizes the masses,social organizations and the government to take part in the struggle against imperialism and warlords;during the different development periods of the National Revolutionary Movement,how did the content and position of public opinion mobilization of Hunan Popular Daily evolve,exploring the historical role of modern newspapers and periodicals in national salvation.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,mainly on the reasons for the topic,research methods,research significance,research survey and related concepts;the second part combs the background,purpose and main columns of Hunan Popular Daily in the period of national revolution to pave the way for the following research;in the third part,the author examines the public opinion mobilization cognition of the newspaper crowd of Hunan Popular Daily,showing the similarities and differences of the political stand and the public opinion tendency of the newspaper people in different stages;in the fourth part,according to the reorganization of Hunan Popular Daily and the development of the national revolution,investigates the content and form of public opinion mobilization of Hunan Popular Daily;the fourth part based on the reorganization of Hunan Popular Daily and the development of the National Revolution,studies the text materials with the theme of "anti-imperialism and anti-warlords",then focuses on the "anti-imperialist and anti-warlord" events,such as the "Liu Yi "case,the war between Jiangsu and Zhejiang,the National Assembly movement,the "May 30th " movement,the Northern Expeditions,the Labour and Peasant Movement,the campaign to save the party,search the content and form of public opinion mobilization in Hunan Popular Daily;the fifth part analyzes the characteristics of public opinion mobilization of Hunan Popular Daily,and according to the current media environment to explore the reality of reference.Through research,it is found that influenced by factors such as the background of the Times,the age structure of the reporter and the cognition of the means of change,with the National Revolutionary Movement advancing day by day,the thread of public opinion mobilization of Hunan Popular Daily is becoming more mature and systematic,and the revolutionary stand is growing stronger.In the early period of the National Revolution,the newspaper group represented by Gong Xinyin and Jiang Zhaoxiang dared to take the lead,taking the " Liu Yi" case as the basic point,reflected and guided anti-imperialist public opinion in Hunan actively,at the same time,they raised the tide of public opinion by calling for domestic peace and convening a national assembly.When the "May 30th" movement arrived,the newspapermen represented by Zhou Fang,Mao Maoxun and Jiang Kecheng,on the one hand called on the people to oppose imperialist and warlords,and on the other hand relied on the Zhao Hengti government,a local warlord in Hunan,and tried to save the nation from extinction by means of joint provincial autonomy and civilian education,it reflects the conservative and contradictory side of Huxiang intellectuals.In the middle and late period of the national revolution,the newspapermen represented by Xiong Henghan,Zeng San and Jiang Zhaoxiang,actively mobilized the people to support the Northern Expedition,took part in the Worker-peasant movement,and gave full play to the combativeness of the newspapers.It played the role of overthrowing the reactionaries and defending the United Front.In short,the Hunan Popular Daily mobilized public opinion by setting up an agenda framework,expanding its columns,constructing an online and offline public opinion field,and taking part in the revolutionary action personally,enriching and perfecting the thread of mobilization of public opinion in the national revolution.Realizing the transformation from "semi-revolution" to "complete revolution" in mobilizing public opinion,and opening up the mass thoughts.It has played an important role in opening up the masses’ thought,raising readers’ political participation and revolutionary consciousness,and mobilizing them to devote themselves to the revolutionary task of "anti-imperialist and warlords". |
