Research On The Function Of The Adverbs "really", "indeed" And "reality" And Second Language Teaching | | Posted on:2022-01-23 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y C Cheng | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2515306326971099 | Subject:Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Conviction adverbs are very complicated in usage.Their meanings are similar but the usages are different when expressing affirmation in discourse.They are also one of the most important and difficult points for Chinese as a second language learners.How to teach conviction adverbs accurately and effectively in Chinese class is a question worthy of deep consideration for Chinese teachers.Based on their similar meanings and high frequency of utilization,this thesis chooses three conviction adverbs,namely,"zhēnde(真的)""quèshí(确实)"and"shízài(实在)"as the research object,analyzing interrelated language materials collected from the Corpus of Center for Chinese Linguistics PKU(CCL)and BLCU Corpus Center(BCC).The paper carries out comparative study from syntax features,semantic function and pragmatic value.According to the materials from HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus of Beijing Language University and interlanguage Corpus of Jinan University,the paper explores the biased error about"zhēnde""quèshí"and"shízài"of Chinese as a second language learners,summarizing the representative types of biased error as well as its reasons and then discussing the reasonable teaching plan and suggestions according to the ontology research and situation of the biased error.The whole thesis includes the following five parts:The introduction part introduced the reasons for the topic selection,summarizing the ontology research related to "zhēnde" "quèshí" and "shízài" and the research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,putting forward research contents and significance and explaining the research method and the source of corpus.The Chapter Ⅰ gives a detailed analysis and description focusing on syntax features,semantic function and pragmatic value of "zhēnde" "quèshí" and "shízài" mainly based on the interrelated ontology research of the pioneers as well as the existing authoritative reference books and the corpus in CCL and BCC.According to the materials from HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus of Beijing Language University and Interlanguage Corpus of Jinan University,the Chapter Ⅱexplores the biased errors about "zhēnde" "quèshí" and "shízài" of Chinese as a second language learners,dividing the biased errors into the following four categories:misuse,incorrect addition,misordering and missing,pointing and analyzing the four reasons of the biased errors,that is,relevant reference of Chinese books and dictionaries,teachers’ concerns,overgeneralization etc.The main content of the Chapter Ⅲ is to put forward corresponding teaching suggestions and design teaching plans on the synonymous adverbs "zhēnde" "quèshí" and "shízài" on the basis of the first two research parts.The conclusion part briefly summarizes the main ideas and shortcomings of the paper. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | conviction adverb, zhēnde, quèshí, shízài, teaching | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
