Cultural Research On Martial Arts Knives In Ming And Qing Dynasties

In the Ming and Qing dynasties,Wushu knife played an important role in the development of Chinese Wushu equipment diversity.At present,the research on Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties mainly discusses the innovative development of Wushu knife from the map of Wushu knife,and discusses its value in the times from the influence of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties on contemporary Wushu knife.However,based on the overall view,systematically combing the Ming and Qing dynasties Wushu knife is relatively absent.Based on this,taking the culture of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties as the research object,using the knowledge and theory of history,culture and Wushu,using the methods of literature,history research,logic analysis and case analysis,this paper collates and analyzes the shape,technique and function of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties,and further consummates the research on the development course of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties.From the four aspects of the variety,shape and evolution,technique innovation and function change of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties,this paper combs the cultural system of Wushu knife,tries to explore the evolution course and cultural characteristics of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties,and clarifies its traditional cultural connotation.In order to further enrich and improve the connotation of Chinese Wushu instrument historiography.The results are as follows:1.During the Ming and Qing dynasties,Wushu knife-shaped system presented diversity.From simple military weapons,gradually developed into complex and artistic life accessories.The Ming Dynasty divided the Wushu knife into two kinds,one is the hand knife and the ring head knife circulated in the Song Dynasty,the other is the Ming Dynasty homemade knife and the Japanese knife circulated in Japan.With the change of dynasties,the Wushu knives were divided into royal knives,official knives,military knives,folk knives and so on.The shape and function of Wushu knives in Ming and Qing dynasties have outstanding use characteristics,showing the important position of knives in Wushu instruments in Ming and Qing dynasties,and providing rich material for research.2.The function of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties was extensive.With the development of social productive forces,Wushu knife is endowed with different functions by users,which to some extent promotes the development of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties,and then affects the development of the whole Wushu equipment in Ming and Qing dynasties.The different evolution of Wushu knife function promotes the development and innovation of Wushu equipment,and promotes the prosperity of knife culture in these two periods.Of course,this is the inevitable result of the collision between social order stability and cultural development in Ming and Qing dynasties.The historical war and the ornate decoration showing the status of identity provide the origin for the cultural evolution of knife art.3.In Ming and Qing dynasties,Wushu knife techniques showed innovation.Ming and Qing dynasties strong national strength,people live and work in peace and contentment,knife technology and theoretical system gradually tend to improve.It provides an important supporting material for the study of the shape,function and technical system of Wushu knife.4.The change of Wushu knife function in Ming and Qing dynasties presents practicability.The functional change of things changes with the change of application field.During the Ming and Qing dynasties,Wushu knives or influenced by military Wushu became military weapons to defend national dignity and independence.At the same time,the culture of Wushu knives was sought after by folk literati,and wearing knives became a gentleman’s weapon to show their status.5.The cultural examination of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties.Since the Ming and Qing dynasties,the culture of knife art has been endowed with humanistic spirit,whether it is the value of technical attack and the construction of academic theory system,which provides an important reference value for the current study of Wushu knife.From the material culture,institutional culture and spiritual culture of Wushu knife culture,respectively,the Wushu knife is examined.Wushu knife,as an element of utensils,preserves the "figure" of people’s living form and way of life,presents a kind of historical memory,while in military activities and as a literati gentleman’s accessory,it highlights the symbol of practical value and status.Has become a cultural memory.Chase the pace of history,in order to improve the cultural connotation of Wushu knife.As a "living" carrier and "diplomatic" tool for communication between Chinese traditional culture and different nationalities,Wushu knife embodies the wisdom of the forefathers of the Chinese nation and continuously glows and heats in the collision of communication between different cultures.This study is helpful to clarify the cultural development of Wushu knife in Ming and Qing dynasties.
