Objective: Basketball is a team sport with fierce confrontation,which requires athletes with high quality of strength.The lower limbs explosive force(LLE)is an important factor affecting the performance of basketball players.LLE power level lower limits the performance of basketball players on the court.With the use of an 8-week experiment,this study compares the effects of functional compound training and traditional strength training on LLE force and explores the effects of two different training methods on LLE force of young basketball players,so as to find out more effective training methods,and provide reference for the training practice of improving LLE force of young basketball players.Methods: Twenty basketball players from the middle school affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University were selected as the experimental subjects,and the LLE force of basketball players was selected as the research object.The methods of literature review,expert interview,questionnaire survey method,experiment and mathematical statistics were used in the study.First of all,the test indicators and training methods was determined through literature review,questionnaire survey and expert interview method.Secondly,the basic information of the athletes was collected two weeks before the experiment,and the athletes were arranged to carry out relevant training and test movement skills training,so as to be familiar with the experimental process.A week before the experiment,the experimental subjects were tested for their quality.According to the test results,the subjects were ranked from high to low.The odd number was the experimental group,and the even number was the control group.There were 10 people in the experimental group and 10 in the control group.The experimental group used functional compound training,and the control group used traditional strength training.Then,the experimental group and the control group were given 8 weeks of training experiment,twice a week.Finally,with the help of Excel 2016 and SPSS 22.0software for data processing and statistical analysis,use t-test to compare the differences between the experimental group and the control group,to explore which training method is more efficient.Results:(1)The experimental group of functional training combined with traditional strength training had extremely significant differences in standing long jump,squat jump touch high,arm swing CMJ touch high and step jump touch high after the experiment(P< 0.01),and the growth of each index was 3.3%,7.2%,8.2% and 6.8%.(2)The control group in the standing long jump test indicators after the experiment has achieved very significant difference(P < 0.01),swing CMJ touch high,stepping-jump and high touch test has achieved significant difference(P < 0.05),squat jump touch high test has no significant difference(P > 0.05),the growth of each index before and after the test is2.0%,1.6%,2.0%,2.2%.Conclusion:(1)Both functional compound training and traditional strength training can achieve the training goal of improving the LLE power,but the functional compound training is more significant for the high school male basketball players to improve the LLE power.(2)Functional compound training can effectively improve the ability of high school male basketball players to jump from standing position.(3)Functional compound training can effectively improve the ability of high school male basketball players to step jump.(4)Functional training is mostly used in the front of competitive sports,but through teaching experiments,it is found that functional compound training has good effect on the development of lower limb explosive power of high school basketball players,which indicates that functional training is also suitable for the junior basic training team.
