As one of the six core qualities of the mathematics curriculum standard for senior high schools(2017 Edition),logical reasoning ability is a supplement and improvement to the "reasoning ability" in the mathematics curriculum standard for compulsory education(2011Edition).Studying students' mathematical logical reasoning ability has important practical significance and practical value for cultivating students' core qualities and optimizing students' thinking quality.This paper selects 254 ninth grade students from three junior middle schools in Hefei as the research object,studies the current situation and influencing factors of mathematical logical reasoning ability by means of questionnaire,interview and statistical analysis,and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions.The main questions:(1)what is the current situation of mathematical logic reasoning ability of ninth grade students?(2)Are there significant differences in the mathematical logical reasoning ability of ninth grade students in gender and school?(3)What are the factors that affect the mathematical logical reasoning ability of grade 9 students?Conclusions:(1)grade 9 students prefer the overall logical reasoning ability of mathematics,the simple reasoning ability is the best,and there is little difference among disjunctive reasoning,hypothetical reasoning and plausible reasoning.(2)Among the influencing factors of ninth grade students' mathematical logical reasoning ability,there are no significant differences in the dimensions of students' mathematical learning interest and mathematical cognitive structure,but there are significant differences in the dimension of self-efficacy.(3)The development of influencing factors of ninth grade students' mathematical logical reasoning ability is uneven.The main factor affecting ninth grade students' mathematical logical reasoning ability is teachers' teaching methods.(4)There are school differences in the influencing factors of ninth grade students' mathematical logical reasoning ability in each dimension.(5)There is a positive correlation between the mathematical logical reasoning ability of grade 9 students and their grades.(6)The ninth grade students' mathematical logical reasoning ability is positively correlated with the dimensions of influencing factors,and has the strongest correlation with mathematics learning interest.Teaching suggestions:(1)pay attention to creating situations in teaching.(2)Pay attention to logic training for students.(3)Strengthen teachers' and students' understanding of logical reasoning.(4)Strengthen students' mathematical cognitive structure and build knowledge network.
