Research On The Role Adjustment Of Social Workers In Community Governance ——Taking The Social Work Station Of F Street In City D As An Example

In today's Chinese governance system,community governance has become the basic level of the country's overall governance practice planning,and it is an important link of social governance.Its realization emphasizes the importance of residents' autonomy and pluralistic co-governance,and it is also a key topic related to the optimization of governance system and modernization of social governance capacity of the party and the state.Starting from the practical needs of community governance and the professional advantages of social work,social workers have gradually become the main force to promote the innovation of community governance system.According to the professional values of “people-oriented,helping others to help themselves,equality and justice”,they can make up for the defects of community management organizations in the field of community governance by professional and flexible service methods,meet the needs of community services and promote the healthy and orderly development of communities.With the continuous innovation of China's community governance model,many cities have begun to explore the specific operation mode of “five-community linkage” according to their own development features.As the key force of community governance,social workers will inevitably encounter many challenges and role problems during the transition from “the interaction among the community,social workers and social organization” to“five-community linkage”.In view of this,this paper will start from the perspective of social role theory,focus on several governance subjects such as government personnel,community neighborhood committees,community residents,social organizations and social workers,obtain the specific information of social workers in practical work through participant observation and interviews with all subjects,and explore the role expectation,role-play and role imbalance of social workers,analyze and summarize the main performance and specific causes of social workers' role imbalance,and explore the response measures of role adjustment.The study found that social workers shoulder the expectations of both similarities and differences from all parties.It is determined that social workers play a variety of important roles in community governance,mainly as investigators of community service needs,planners and propagandists of service plans,coordinators and linkage of collaborative participation of multiple subjects,trainers for improving the ability of grass-roots party organizations,etc.It is also found that the problems of social workers themselves,communities and social work institutions lead to the role imbalance of role ambiguity,role distance,role tension and role conflict.Finally,aiming at these problems of role imbalance,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions for social workers to adjust their roles,so that social workers can solve and avoid the problems caused by role imbalance in participating in community governance,give full play to their professional advantages,improve the service quality of community governance,further promote the pace of community development and construction,and gradually improve the community governance service system,so as to consolidate the foundation of national social governance.
