Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The Subject Service Of The "Double First Class" University Libraries In The Central And Western Regions

Entering the Internet era,university library is not only closely related to scientific research,but also related to the overall development of the school itself.The Contemporary Library covers a large number of digital resources,which is an important part of scientific research resources,and also an important support to provide knowledge services for users.But now university libraries are facing various problems and challenges,such as the quantification of management and supply speed.Following the "211 Project" and "985 Project",the Ministry of education has put forward another important national strategic plan-"double first class" construction,which marks that the modernization of higher education in the new era and the construction of a powerful higher education country have entered a new stage.The selected colleges and universities are in the forefront of the development of domestic education,and they play a role as a weathervane in the field of education.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the subject service construction of these university libraries.Since the imbalance between the East and the west is still prominent in China's economic development,and the central and western regions of China are in a relatively backward stage of economic development,it has always been an important strategic policy of China to pay attention to the economic development of the central and western regions,especially the Western Regions,and the fundamental way to improve economic development is to promote the development of local education.Based on this,the author selected 18 “double first-class” university libraries in the central and western regions from 42 “double first-class” universities as the research objects,and used a variety of different methods to examine the specific content of the subject service construction in each university library.,Form and other important items have been investigated and studied.The main body of this paper mainly includes six parts:The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly includes the research background of the current situation of the construction of double first-class university library,the analysis of its significance,the carding and summary of the relevant research at home and abroad,and the summary of the research content and ideas,research methods,expected innovation and so on.The second chapter is the theoretical part.Mainly introduces the "Double First Class" and related theoretical and basic conditions of subject services.The third chapter is the research part.Conduct network,literature,and email surveys on the limited range of "double first-class" university libraries in the central and western regions.The survey content includes the subject service content,construction form and other projects of the university library,including subject librarian system,subject service platform,and subject resource's construction,subject consulting services and subject knowledge services,etc.The second is the analysis of the survey results,based on the survey results to carry out a specific description and analysis of the overall status of the subject service.The fourth chapter is the description and summary of successful cases to summarize the current problems in the "double first-class" subject services in the Midwest.The fifth chapter is to put forward countermeasures and suggestions.Based on the detailed analysis of the survey results and the existing research results,it is proposed that the Ministry of Education should increase the support for the discipline service policy of the double first-class universities in the central and western regions,improve the discipline service system,improve the professional ability of the discipline librarians,and innovate disciplines around the existing problems.Six suggestions on service model and focus on quality construction of subject service platform.The last chapter is the conclusion and future prospects.Summarize the full text,reflect on the deficiencies in the research process,and look forward to the future of research in the subject service field.
