Green Supply Chain Cooperative Innovation With TOE Framework

Recently,China has committed to hit peak emissions and reach carbon neutrality,and has emphasized the new principles of innovative,coordinated,green,open and shared development.In this context,integrating "green" into traditional supply chain has become a trend,while enterprises rely on cooperative innovation to share risks and achieve win-win results.However,from an academic perspective,there’re differences in green products and green management among enterprises.Therefore,it’s necessary to study the methods and strategies to improve green innovation performance.This paper takes green supply chain cooperative innovation as the research object.It puts forward three dimensions of influencing factors with TOE framework,and explains the relationship with knowledge management capability and innovation performance.Finally,a theoretical model including antecedents and consequences is formed.To verify the validity of the model,this paper collects data from 206 foreign trade enterprises through the questionnaire method and uses PLS-SEM to test the hypothesis.The results show that technical,organizational and environmental factors exert positive influence on green supply chain cooperative innovation,among which environmental factors contribute the most.Green supply chain cooperative innovation exerts positive impact on product and management innovation performance while knowledge management capability acting as a mediator.Using two sub samples of SMEs and large enterprises,multi-group analysis shows that large enterprises’impact of green supply chain cooperative innovation on product innovation performance is stronger than SMEs.This paper enriches the theory of green supply chain cooperative innovation,and the empirical results provide decision-making basis and scientific guidance for foreign trade enterprises to break green trade barriers,which also offer reference for the government to make policies related to environmental protection and green innovation.
