The Research On Interactive Design Of Dormitory Furniture In Colleges And Universities

"Interaction" is a relatively advanced concept in product design.Usually,product design with interaction between people and things,coordination between people,positive feedback and feedback is called good interaction design.China’s colleges and universities are developing rapidly,more college students are living on campus,and the new generation of college students have higher requirements for living environment and quality of life.However,the existing dormitory furniture in colleges and universities can’t meet the needs of students,and can’t produce positive interaction between people and things,and there is a contradiction between crowded and messy living and improving living quality.Based on the theory of interaction design method,Gestalt psychology,ergonomics,cognitive psychology and other theoretical knowledge,this topic deeply studies the furniture design of university dormitory based on interaction concept by combining scenario and case analysis,literature research and questionnaire survey.First of all,combing the methodology of interaction design,the application of interaction design in furniture,the development of dormitory furniture design in colleges and universities and the characteristics of college students in detail,on this basis,summarizing the interactive elements in the dormitory furniture design in colleges and universities,such as interaction approach,dormitory type and number,dormitory furniture material,shape and color,etc.Secondly,through questionnaires and interviews,the physiological and psychological characteristics of the target population,the cognition of dormitory furniture,macro-interaction and micro-interaction paths for the target population were explored,and the living needs,preference for dormitory furniture and furniture interaction problems for college residents of different genders,different stages of study and different majors were found out.Finally,based on theoretical analysis and survey results statistics,the design principles and methods of dormitory furniture in colleges and universities based on human-material-environment interaction demand are summarized,and verified by design practice.Finally,on the basis of interactive evaluation,we will reflect and summarize,and further improve the principles and methods of innovative design of university dormitory furniture based on interactive concept.Through theoretical analysis and design practice research,it is found that the interaction between people and furniture is the key part in the design of dormitory furniture in colleges and universities,and the flexible and interactive dormitory furniture can fully meet the needs of college students’ reflection.The interaction needs of students of different genders,majors and grades are very different,and people of the same group have different perceptions of the interaction elements of furniture due to their different personal preferences.At present,there are many researches on the design of dormitory furniture in China,but there is a lack of interactive demand,and the difference appeal point is not clear.According to the investigation,it is found that the interaction efficiency of design elements such as material,lighting,structure and use form of dormitory furniture in colleges and universities is different,but the interaction efficiency of pure material,shape,color and other elements is limited.Different groups of students tend to choose different furniture characteristics,but the furniture design theme from the reflection level is more likely to meet the needs of college students’ dormitory study and life.
