The high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin is a major strategy of practical significance,which is not only the internal driving force to promote China’s economic development,but also the external demand to promote regional coordinated development.Improving urban ecological efficiency is an important content to realize the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.In this paper,the super efficiency SBM model considering unexpected output is used to calculate the ecological efficiency of 62 prefecture level cities in the Yellow River Basin from 2005 to 2018,and analyze their spatial distribution characteristics.Then analyze the convergence of ecological efficiency of 62 prefecture level cities in14 years,and explore its evolution law.Finally,the spatial econometric model is used to analyze the influencing factors and spatial spillover effect of ecological efficiency in the Yellow River Basin.The results show that :(1)the ecological efficiency of cities in the lower reaches of the Yellow River basin is the highest,the ecological efficiency of cities in the upper reaches is in the middle level,and the ecological efficiency of cities in the middle reaches is the lowest.(2)The σ convergence index of the Yellow River Basin as a whole and the upper,middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River Basin fluctuates firstly and then decreases.There is no obvious σ convergence,but there is periodic σconvergence.There is absolute β convergence of ecological efficiency in the Yellow River Basin as a whole and in the upper,middle and lower reaches,and the convergence rate in the middle,upper and lower reaches is from slow to fast.There is conditional β convergence of ecological efficiency in the Yellow River basin as a whole and in the upper,middle and lower reaches.The convergence rate is the highest in the middle reaches,followed by the upper reaches and the lowest in the lower reaches.(3)The level of economic development,financial development and technological innovation have significant effects on eco-efficiency,and the spatial spillover effect is significant;Opening to the outside world can significantly improve ecological efficiency but has no obvious spatial spillover effect.Industrial structure and urbanization rate will reduce the level of ecological efficiency and have significant negative spillover effect.The energy consumption structure will reduce the level of eco-efficiency and the spillover effect is not significant.The effect of environmental regulation on ecological efficiency in the Yellow River Basin is not obvious.Therefore,this paper puts forward the following policy suggestions: driving the overall coordinated development with core cities;Vigorously promote technological innovation in the whole production process;Promote the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure;Strengthen regional cooperation with the help of spatial relevance;Government departments should establish specific reward and punishment measures. |
