Mental demand in tourism industry has witnessed a great increase.The demand jumps out of sightseeing & shopping in a tourism product and turns to its integrated culture and the level of participation.On the culture and tourism mutually integrated basis,combined tourism products like‘tea culture + tourism’ has become a trend to meet the demand.Liubao Tea is a tea brand of Wu Zhou,with long history and reputation,topping the brand range in Guangxi while ranging the third in the dark tea brands national wide.Given the rich culture hidden behind it as well as the brand name’s far reaching influence,Liu Bao Tea has attracted tremendous tourists.Meanwhile,this phenomenon has also risen attention from different perspectives,namely the government,enterprises and travelers.The development of tourism,however,gradually shows the trend that its product would not meet the increasing expectation of different stakeholders due to the inadequate richness of its attached culture,the ill prepared room to participate,the lack of room of coordinated development,and so on.Such problems would otherwise hinds a sustainable development of the local tourism,and consequently the regional development,if they are not solved properly.The paper explores the problems hidden in the development of cultural tourism with the support of collected data derived from current literature and on-site investigation about cultural regions,tourism resources,tourism products and tourism market.The paper also introduces aseries of suggestion for Liubao Tea and tourism development based on tourism experiences theory.Advice covers that the development of cultural tourism should have technological factors involved,identify related stakeholders,upgrade the inner value of tourism products and integrate in-depth experiences in tourism product.The paper as well recommends there be a rural sites featuring in comprehensive experiences of Liubao culture to polish its brand name.Strengthened marketing strategies,improved trained human resources,and coordinated development are also introduced as means to the development.
