Study On Improvement Of Procurement Management Information System Of M Company

With the development of global information technology,management information systems have become an indispensable part of the operations for enterprises.The application of information technology not only helps enterprises gain opportunities in commercial environment,and with the help of other resources of the enterprise to gain economic synergy.In the face of such a highly competitive information times,the managers of M company want to improve the management level and enhance the core competitiveness of the company by accelerating the construction of information technology.M company’s PMIS as the research object,analyzing the current problems of the PMIS,and designing improvement plan that pave the way for M company to implement the comprehensive information strategy in the future.This paper is based on summary of related research at domestic and abroad,taking M company’s PMIS as the research object,and collecting the issues of M company’s procurement management information system via online and offline questionnaires.Mainly including business process,system framework,function modules,databases.Combining with the results of interviews with the managers,and analyzed the reasons for the problems.According to the principles of improvement and actual situation,the feasibility of implementing the improvement plan was explained from the three aspects,system improvement from the perspective of system architecture,system process,and system function,and describes the expected effect from economic benefits,system application and system performance for system improvement.This paper describes the implementation of the improvement plan,and proposed the guarantee measures for the system improvement content,including project management,capital budget,personnel training.This paper applies PDCA cycle theory and TOE theoretical framework,collect and discover problems during the operation of the current system,feasibility of this system improvement plan is demonstrated from the three aspects of technology,organization and environmental factors.It provides a theoretical basis for enterprises that have the same troubles,and also has certain reference significance for enterprises that implement information construction.
