As an important support for economic growth,China’s energy consumption continues to rise. With the advancement of industrialization, environmental problems such as greenhouse gas emissions, frequent smog weather and serious air pollution are becoming more and more obvious, posing a threat to people’s normal production and life.In the context of the new normal, based on the internal requirements of promoting sustainable development and the responsibility of building a community with a shared future for mankind,China proposed in 2020 to reach the peak of carbon emissions by 2030 and strive to achieve the goal of carbon neutralization by 2060,which puts forward higher requirements for China’s control of energy consumption and highlights the important position of ecological and environmental protection in the national development strategy. It also shows that in the process of energy consumption, not only economic benefits, but also social and environmental factors should be considered.Integrate economy, energy, environment and society into a unified system, study the development status of industrial energy ecological efficiency, facilitate the real-time monitoring of each part, and promote the coordinated development of the four systems of economy, energy, environment and society.Taking provinces as the smallest research unit, this paper uses Undesirable-SBM model to calculate China’s industrial energy ecological efficiency from 2007 to 2019 from the four aspects of economy, energy, environment and society, analyzes its stage change characteristics and dynamic evolution law by using the trend chart, radar chart and nuclear density estimation method, and investigates the spatial correlation, spatial agglomeration characteristics and driving factors influencing mechanism of industrial energy ecological efficiency with the help of exploratory spatial data analysis and spatial econometric model, and puts forward targeted optimization strategies based to the analysis results of influencing factors and combined with typical cases of relevant regions and enterprises. The results show that:(1)China’s overall industrial energy eco-efficiency presents two main stages: 2007-2013 is a stable period, and 2014-2019 is a significant growth period. From the perspective of the six major regions, the industrial energy eco-efficiency gap has gradually widened. From the perspective of each province, the industrial energy eco-efficiency shows significant provincial heterogeneity, and the provincial efficiency differences evolve from low-efficiency aggregation to uniform distribution.(2)The spatial distribution pattern of South Central China> East China> Southwest China> Northeast China> North China> Northwest China. The spatial agglomeration characteristics are mainly high-high agglomeration,low-high agglomeration and low-low agglomeration. At the same time, the straddle transition ratio is low,and the spatial stability of my country’s industrial energy eco-efficiency is relatively good.(3)The level of economic development has a negative correlation with the overall regional and subregional industrial energy ecological efficiency. The degree of opening to the outside world has a negative impact on the overall region and high-efficiency region.R&D investment inhibits the improvement of industrial energy ecological efficiency in the overall region and medium efficiency region, but has a positive impact on low-efficiency regions.Environmental regulation and industrial structure only affect high-efficiency regions, the low efficiency region has a positive effect; The spatial spillover effect of each variable has obvious regional heterogeneity, which is mainly characterized by the synergy between individual subregions and the whole region, and the opposite in other regions.(4)Propose targeted optimization strategies according to the results of influencing factors,Including: optimize the energy structure, promoting the development of circular economy, rationally planning R&D investment, improving the level of technological innovation, increasing the degree of opening to the outside world, adjusting environmental regulation policies, adjusting the proportion of industrial composition, optimizing the allocation of knowledge and information resources, and learning from regional development models,to promote exchanges and cooperation between provinces in my country. |
