| Land is one of the basic elements for human survival,and land use has a profound impact on people’s lives,social and economic development and regional ecological environment.Land use transition reveals the dynamic process of regional land use function transition corresponding to the transition of economic and social development stages in a period of time,and is a new approach to land use change research.Since the 21 st century,the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt has developed rapidly,and the ecological and environmental problems caused by the transformation of its land use functions have gradually emerged.It is of great practical significance to study the land use transition under the rapid economic and social development and discuss the impact of land use transition on the quality of the regional comprehensive ecological environment.In view of this,this paper takes the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt,a typical east-west area as an example,and uses the land use data from 2000 to 2018 to identify its land use transition and its ecological and environmental effects.This paper explores the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of land use in the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt from 2000 to 2018 by means of land use transition matrix,land use dynamics,Gini coefficient,Lorenz curve,and standard deviation ellipse.And with the help of regional ecological environment quality index,ecological contribution rate,center of gravity migration model,and geographic detectors,the impact of land use transition on the ecological environment of the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt is analyzed.The research shows that:(1)During the study period,agricultural production land and forestry ecological land in the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt decreased greatly,followed by water ecological land,rural living land,and grassland ecological land,while industrial production land and urban living land increased significantly.At the same time,the mutual transformation between agricultural production land and forest ecological land is prominent.The regional land use change of the Guangdong section of the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt is more severe than that of the Guangxi section.(2)The spatial distribution of ecological land in the study area is relatively uniform,followed by the space of production land,and the spatial distribution of residential land has a large gap;the spatial distribution of residential land has changed the most from 2000 to 2018,and its spatial distribution shows a trend of more uneven distribution in fluctuations.From 2000 to 2018,the centers of gravity of the standard deviation ellipses of all species in the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt moved in different directions,and the trend of east-west movement was more obvious.The center of gravity of the standard deviation ellipse of industrial production land and other ecological land shifted the most,and the spatial distribution changed more obviously.(3)The land use recessive form index is negatively correlated with the regional comprehensive ecological environment quality to a certain extent,the spatial distribution of the two is similar,and the spatial distribution pattern of the ecological environment quality is consistent with the regional social and economic development.To a certain extent,this shows that the economic development of the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt is at the expense of part of the ecological environment.(4)The change of regional ecological quality is a dynamic process of ecological environment improvement and ecological environment deterioration at the same time.During the study period,the trend of ecological environment improvement in the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt was slightly smaller than that of deterioration.As far as different regions are concerned,the comprehensive ecological environment quality of the Guangdong section of the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt is slightly worse than that of the Guangxi region.During the study period,the comprehensive ecological environment quality of the Guangdong section has deteriorated more significantly than that of the Guangxi section,and the ecological environment of the Guangxi section is relatively more stable. |
