The Effect Research Of Agricultural Production Trusteeship To Promote Agricultural Carbon Emission Reduction

The greenhouse effect caused by carbon dioxide and other gas emissions has become a global problem,after energy activities,agriculture has become the second largest source of greenhouse gas emissions.Under the goal of "double carbon",it is urgent to reduce carbon emissions from agriculture.As a new type of agricultural service,agricultural production trust is an important means to solve the shortage of agricultural labor and achieve economy of scale,and an important way for farmers to participate in modern production methods.At the same time,agricultural production trust drives the application of low-carbon production technology in agricultural production,reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides;and through continuous farming and large-scale production,it reduces energy consumption and promotes the greening and low-carbon of agricultural production.Based on the theory of farmers’ behaviour,the theory of low-carbon agriculture,and the theory of economies of scale and division of labour,the purchase of agricultural production trust services by farmers realises the concentration of capital and land,which lays the capital and technology foundation for large-scale digital production and low-carbon technology application,and then optimises the allocation of resources,improves the efficiency of agricultural production,and promotes the greening and low-carbonisation of agricultural production.The promotion effect of agricultural production trusteeship on agricultural carbon emission reduction is mainly achieved through the technology effect,scale effect and substitution effect.Agricultural production trust drives the application of low-carbon production technology in agriculture,reducing the use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides;it promotes intensive production,leading to the specialisation of scale and division of labour in agricultural production,reducing additional losses and improving resource utilisation;it promotes the application of mechanical equipment,especially digital equipment,realising the substitution of mechanical equipment for human capital and saving energy consumption per unit.At the same time,there is heterogeneity in the effect of agricultural production trust in promoting agricultural carbon emission reduction,with different trust links,different sources of carbon emissions and different factor endowments of trust farmers affecting the effect of agricultural carbon emission reduction differently.Based on the research data,this paper selected four carbon sources of fertilizer,pesticide,agricultural diesel,and labor input,and combined them with carbon emission coefficients to measure the average acreage carbon emissions from agricultural production of farmers.On this basis,a propensity score matching(PSM)model was used to empirically test the effect of agricultural production trust in promoting agricultural carbon emission reduction.The results show that: firstly,agricultural production trusteeship significantly affects agricultural carbon emissions,and the purchase of agricultural production trusteeship services by farmers contributes to agricultural carbon emission reduction.Secondly,the effect of agricultural production trusteeship on carbon emission reduction is influenced by field management services,followed by field management services and cultivation and harvesting services.Third,the source of carbon emissions affects the emission reduction effect.Agricultural production trust has the best effect on carbon emissions reduction caused by manual inputs,followed by carbon emissions caused by fertilizers,then by carbon emissions caused by pesticides,and finally by carbon emissions caused by diesel.Fourthly,the factor endowment of farmers affects the emission reduction effect.The carbon reduction effect of agricultural production trust is better for farmers with fewer types of farm machinery,smaller scale of operation,and smaller share of food income.In order to better play the role of agricultural production trusteeship to promote agricultural carbon emission reduction,first,we need to vigorously develop agricultural production trusteeship services,enhance the incentive of farmers to purchase services,especially to enhance the enthusiasm of small farmers to purchase services,and promote the connection between farmers and agricultural production trusteeship from three aspects:increasing publicity,improving cooperation mechanisms,and cultivating diversified service subjects;second,improve agricultural production trusteeship services,focus on the differences of farmers The second is to improve agricultural production trust services,pay attention to the differences of farmers,further promote the low carbonization of agricultural production,and enhance the ability of agricultural production trust to drive low-carbon production of various types of farmers from five aspects: improving the capital guarantee mechanism,promoting the digitization of agricultural production,cultivating specialized labor,promoting the specialization of agricultural production trust services,and highlighting support for small farmers.
