As climate change becomes more and more severe,it has become a consensus to reduce emissions and increase sinks.The proposal of carbon peak and carbon neutral targets has put forward new requirements for the green and high-quality development of all fields in China.Fishery carbon sink is the process of carbon sequestration and carbon transfer through fishery production activities,thus indirectly reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration.It has been widely recognized that marine fishery has a huge carbon sink potential,and relevant calculations have been relatively mature.At the same time,marine fishery is an important part of large agriculture,generating considerable carbon emissions.Shandong Province is a major province in marine fisheries,and the output value and production of mariculture are among the top in the country.Therefore,from the perspective of carbon neutrality of marine fisheries,this study selected the data of marine fisheries in Shandong Province from 2010 to 2020 and the data of marine fisheries in coastal cities in Shandong Province from 2016 to 2020,and studied the carbon neutrality capacity of marine fisheries in Shandong Province.Firstly,a measurement framework of marine fishery carbon neutrality capacity was constructed,and the measurement range and method of marine fishery carbon neutrality capacity in Shandong Province were defined,so as to estimate the carbon neutrality capacity of marine fishery in Shandong Province.The results showed that the marine fishery in Shandong Province is completely carbon neutral and its carbon neutral capacity is improved.The carbon neutral capacity of the seven coastal cities is high in the east and low in the west,with large regional differences.The marine fishery carbon sink in Shandong Province showed an upward trend.The carbon sink composition was stable and shellfish was the main source of carbon sink.The total carbon emission of marine fishery changed little,but the carbon emission intensity decreased significantly.Secondly,the LMDI decomposition model and M-R decomposition model were used to decompose the carbon neutralization capacity of marine fishery in Shandong Province.It was found that from the perspective of time series changes,the culture scale factor is the main factor for the improvement of carbon neutral capacity of marine fishery in Shandong Province,followed by culture efficiency and net carbon sink efficiency.Shellfish variety structure and mariculture structure have little contribution to the increase of net carbon sink of marine fishery.From the perspective of spatial difference,the scale of aquaculture is also the main driving factor for the high carbon neutral capacity of marine fishery in Shandong Province.For the marine fishery in seven coastal cities,the influence of each factor is different.Thirdly,the Tapio decoupling model was used to analyze the decoupling relationship between the carbon neutralization capacity of marine fishery and economic growth in Shandong Province.It was found that during the study period,the environmental variables of marine fishery and economic growth in Shandong Province were mainly in a state of decoupling,which was mainly shown as weak decoupling.The development of environmental benefits and economic benefits was not synchronized,but gradually toward the direction of coordination between economy and environment.Compared with other provinces,the economic and environmental coupling degree of the development of marine fishery in Shandong Province is still low,so the coordinated development of marine fishery should be emphasized in the future.Through the calculation,factor decomposition and decoupling analysis of the carbon neutral capacity of marine fisheries in Shandong Province,the theoretical basis was provided for the marine fishery to develop towards environmentally friendly and high quality,and the countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to improve the carbon neutral capacity of marine fishery. |
