The main research content of this paper is the analysis of the influencing factors and consequences of the spontaneous combustion accident of sulfur-containing oil storage tanks. The spontaneous combustion tendency of sulfur corrosion products is studied by experimental methods;the external factors affecting the spontaneous combustion accident of storage tanks are studied through numerical simulation, and the thermal radiation generated by the spontaneous combustion of storage tanks and the shock wave overpressure generated by the explosion of storage tanks are analyzed to the surrounding environment and adjacent tanks.body influence.According to the research results, reasonable suggestions for accident prevention can be put forward. Its specific research results are as follows:(1)Through experiments,it was found that different combinations of oil pollution, composition, water content and particle size have different degrees of influence on the spontaneous combustion tendency of sulfur corrosion products.By fitting and analyzing the experimental data,it can be seen that oil pollution dominates under the action of oil pollution and composition;water content dominates under the action of oil pollution and water content;diameter dominates.(2)It is determined by numerical simulation that the intensity of heat source, the disturbance of air flow outside the storage tank and the material of the storage tank have different degrees of influence on the temperature field change of the spontaneous combustion accident. The sulfur corrosion product does not release heat as a constant heat source, and its heat release varies with the stage of the exothermic reaction;the external airflow disturbance is represented by the air convection heat transfer coefficient, the value of which increases, and the degree of heat exchange between the external environment and the tank wall increases. It is difficult for the spontaneous combustion temperature to continue to rise;the thermal insulation and heat dissipation of the tank wall material affect the temperature field change of the spontaneous combustion of the storage tank. When epoxy glass flakes and low carbon steel are used, the wall heat transfer is slow, and when rock wool is used, the heat transfer is relatively quick.(3)Establish single-tank and double-tank models to simulate the consequences of spontaneous combustion accidents in storage tanks, and analyze the consequences of fire thermal radiation and explosion shock wave overpressure. When a single tank fires and burns, the temperature around the tank decreases slowly with the increase of the distance from the tank wall;after the single tank explodes, the time for different overpressures to transfer to the safe distance from the tank wall is different. After the double-tank fires, burns and explodes, heat radiation and overpressure are superimposed. The temperature rises rapidly and the rate of decrease is slow. The time for adjacent tanks to receive the same overpressure under different overpressures is significantly shorter than that of a single-tank explosion.
