As an important hub for transportation,ports play a crucial role in social and economic development,playing a core node role in the material supply chain,and will have many impacts on the upstream and downstream benefits of the supply chain.But the most prominent characteristics of the port industry are high energy consumption and high pollution,which will have a significant impact on the surrounding ecological environment during its development process.Therefore,in the context of the clear proposal of the "dual carbon" goal by the central government,it is imperative to achieve sustainable development of ports.One of the important key ports for cargo consolidation in Hebei Province is Huanghua Port,whose main business is coal transportation.In recent years,the port has been facing increasing environmental pressure,and transformation and upgrading are urgent.Given this background,this article mainly analyzes the sustainable development strategy of Guoneng Huanghua Port Company(hereinafter referred to as Huanghua Port)from the perspective of carbon peak.Organize and compare strategic research related to port sustainable development,analyze the dialectical relationship between carbon peak and enterprise sustainable development,clarify the mutual influence relationship between the two,further clarify the research logic,and introduce the sustainable development status of Huanghua Port.Analyze the internal environment of Huanghua Port from four aspects:economic benefits,information technology level,human resources,and hardware facilities,Then,through IFE evaluation,it was concluded that the internal resource utilization efficiency and management ability of Huanghua Port are relatively high;This article uses PEST analysis and Porter’s Five Forces analysis method to study the macro environment and industry competition environment in which its sustainable development is located,and then conducts EFE evaluation.The conclusion drawn is that Huanghua Port can better adapt to the external environment.Subsequently,the existing problems in sustainable development were summarized,and based on the IFE and EFE analysis results,the QSPM matrix was used for analysis.It was clearly proposed that Huanghua Port could develop and implement a growth oriented strategy,and its sustainable development strategic vision,goals,and functional positioning were clarifiedFinally,the implementation measures for the sustainable development strategy of Huanghua Port are proposed from the following four aspects: firstly,establishing a multi departmental linkage management mechanism;Secondly,actively introducing green technology and intelligent means;Thirdly,improve the monitoring,assessment and evaluation system;The fourth is to adhere to the concept of sustainable development,and then propose guarantee measures from five aspects: human resources,corporate culture,funds,infrastructure,and government policies to ensure the implementation of sustainable development strategy implementation measures.The research conclusion of this article can provide certain reference value for Huanghua Port and similar port enterprises to formulate and implement sustainable development strategies in the context of carbon peak,and achieve healthy and sustainable development on the basis of striving to achieve carbon peak goals.
