With the rapid development of the knitting industry,consumers pay more and more attention to the comfortable and fashionable knitted clothing.The upsurge of protecting intangible cultural heritage has brought new development opportunities to the knitted clothing industry.The application of ethnic elements in clothing design has become an important direction of the current development of knitted clothing.Qiandongnan Miao embroidery has become a treasure of our ethnic culture with its exaggerated and freehand design,gorgeous and harmonious colors,rich and profound cultural connotation and exquisite embroidery techniques.Faced with the current situation of high cost,long time consuming,high price,small market and difficult commercial transformation of traditional Miao embroidery,this paper innovates the new idea of design,and puts forward the innovative view that the effect of computerized flat knitting machine knitted fabric is highly similar to the visual performance characteristics of Miao embroidery pattern before,and integrates the color,texture,composition and other artistic forms of Miao embroidery pattern in Qiandongnan into the design of flat knitting machine knitted clothing.This paper mainly uses the research methods of literature retrieval,field research,simulation experiment and design practice,through the research on the color composition,composition layout,artistic characteristics,pattern modeling and other aspects of the Miao embroidery pattern in Qiandongnan,and redesigns the traditional Miao embroidery pattern in the context of modern art design,and uses the computer flat knitting technology to design the Miao embroidery theme clothing series with cultural connotation and modern aesthetics in Qiandongnan,It reflects the combination of cultural heritage and innovative application,and provides a new way to solve the combination of intangible cultural heritage and modern clothing technology.The research conclusions of the article are as follows:(1)Pattern design perspective: for the selection and sublation of Miao embroidery patterns in Qiandongnan in the context of modern art design,the structure of traditional pattern graphics can be modernized,and the modern composition principle can be infiltrated into the Miao embroidery patterns in Qiandongnan.(2)From the perspective of color application: on the one hand,we should try to apply modern aesthetic popular colors to traditional Qiandongnan Miao embroidery patterns,creating more possibilities for the application of traditional patterns in modern computerized flat knitting.On the other hand,the core color combination and classic color system in the traditional Qiandongnan Miao embroidery pattern should be continued,and the color aesthetics of Qiandongnan Miao embroidery should be innovated and developed in modern design.(3)From the perspective of material application: the yarn of special materials such as woolen yarn and fancy yarn can help improve the three-dimensional sense of Miao embroidery patterns in knitted fabrics in Qiandongnan.2/45NM6% wool blended yarn is more suitable for commercial production as a raw material with its advantages of colorful,comfortable and easy to shape,and high cost performance.(4)From the perspective of application technology: combine traditional Qiandongnan Miao embroidery pattern with modern computerized flat knitting machine,and innovate the design and process method of computerized flat knitting machine to express Miao embroidery pattern and texture effect.Among them,the six-color sesame dot jacquard process can best represent the multi-color and complex features of the Miao embroidery patterns in Qiandongnan,and the clothing fabric produced is comfortable and easy to shape.The flat knitting technology has opened up ideas for the modern inheritance and protection of the Miao embroidery in Qiandongnan,and made the intangible cultural heritage Miao embroidery rejuvenate.At the same time,it also provides reference experience for the new development direction,and constantly improves the cultural connotation of knitted clothing.
