The Study On The Formation And Time Value Of Xi Jinping’s Thought On Ecological Civilization

In 1978,the curtain of reform and opening up was raised on the Chinese land,and the enthusiasm and creativity of the people were fully released,resulting in the rapid development of China’s economy and society.At the same time,various ecological problems emerged one after another,and the ecological cost of reform and opening up constrained further economic and social development.The Party Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core,has put forward a series of new concepts,ideas and strategies to address ecological issues around the overall layout of "Five-in-One",forming the Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization.Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization is based on theoretical studies of ecology in ancient and modern times and the practical basis of the Communist Party of China’s ecological construction.The theoretical foundation of Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization was laid by Marx and Engels’ view of nature,the ecological wisdom of China’s excellent traditional culture and foreign ecological theories and practices;the Communist Party of China’s construction practice of adapting nature to local conditions during the New Democratic Revolution,and the experience and lessons learned from China’s economic construction during the two historical periods before and after the reform and opening up,provided the practical basis for the formation of this thought.The formation of Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization was a long process,beginning when he was stationed in Shaanxi Province and led the villagers to grasp production,sprouting in Zhengding,taking shape in Fujian,enriching in Zhejiang and Shanghai,and eventually forming a scientific system with rich connotations in the central government.Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization is an important part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,a new development of the Marxist doctrine of the relationship between man and nature in the 21 st century,and a scientific guide for the construction of ecological civilization in China.This paper uses documentary research and historical analysis to comprehensively sort out the foundations of Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization,clarify the stages of its formation,and take Xi Jinping’s period in northern Shaanxi as the starting point of his ecological thought.At the same time,the theoretical and practical value of Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization is highly summarised.It inherits and develops the ecological thought of classical Marxism,sublimates and innovates the ecological wisdom of excellent Chinese traditional culture,and enriches and improves the ecological theoretical system of Chinese Marxism,which is of great value in guiding the practice of building a beautiful China,pointing the way to economic development,and providing global ecological governance solutions.This thesis uses the perspective of linkage development to discuss the ecology of China.This thesis is a systematic study of Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization using the perspective of linkage and development,which is of certain significance in deepening theoretical cognition and enriching the research system of Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization.
